"I know." Replied Fred, "but don't you think it's a little early for children yet?"
"Yeah, but it'll be there for a reason. Now, Mcgonagall said that there would be a letter on the table that we should open." We wandered into the kitchen. On the table lay a envelope stamped with the Hogwarts wax seal.
"You read it."
I rolled my eyes, slipped open the letter and started to read.
Dear mr and soon to be mrs Weasley.
I took a deep breath. This is not the normal year I was hoping for. But then again, we are at Hogwarts, nothings ever normal really. Unless you count fighting dark magic as a regular thing.
Congratulations for your new life together. From today you will act as spouses. From then you will be fiancées and significant others. All the deadlines for these as well as a few more important details are listed on the other sheet. Good luck! From, The ministry of magic and the staff at Hogwarts.
I took another deep breath and read out the details from the other sheet.
Engagement deadline - 28th December. Marriage deadline - 30th April. At least one of the amount children that is listed below - within the next 2 years.
If these aren't followed through you will be given a date within the next year to have it completed. If not your wands will be snapped, you will serve a month in Azkaban and you and your partner will be forced to live as muggles.
I finished reading. We didn't really know what to say. Finally Fred spoke up "so we're dating now? Also why nine, like why not three or one?"
"Yep..... and I don't know really"
"So........ since we're like..... you know........ dating now........ you wanna go to hogsmeade together next time they have a trip?"
"Sure" I smiled at him. He returned it.
"So........ is there any food we can eat?"
I laughed, "yep your definitely Ron's brother! But no, not yet we're supposed to go and buy some this weekend."
"Damn!"
I giggled again. Bang bang bang bang bang
"I'm coming, I'm coming! Jeez!" I shouted.
"Hi!!!!!!!"
