It was night. Ten to be exact. On a Thursday. I was listening to a pop station. There's not much i remember from that fateful nights haze. We were headed back home from Granville. The way home was in the middle of nowhere but I do remember that me and my mom passed a church before it  question happened. I looked at the church dimly lit by the only street light for miles. The dimly lit brick church was pretty now that I recall those last few moments. I took a glance at it before my ears catch something like a very faint male voice. The small voice sounded as if it was pleading us to stop. It seemed as if I wasn't the only one that heard it. My moms eyes jolted back and forth as we allowed ourselves to slow down a little bit. We silently asked ourselves and each other what that was but nothing other than silence fell over us for a short while. All of a sudden a tall guy with a black hood appeared out of nowhere in front of our car from the side of the road. The last thing I really remember is us swerving and sliding -into a tree apparently- as mom slammed on her brakes. After that, everything went black almost as if I fell into a deep sleep in what felt like an instant. Just like that my world was changed forever. I don't remember feeling anything. Just the feeling of peace, bliss, and total weightlessness. In this instance of time the one thing I unmistakably remember was a memory.
