Maids in Holiday: Chapter 15

CHAPTER 15

June's POV

I left the room where Niall and Tina were still praticing as soon as I could. Standing there, seeing them talking, laughing, singing togethere were too painful for my heart. I didn't want to be a broken heart girl anymore.

I intended to come back to the staff's room when my phone rang. I pulled it out and looked at the ID. ''My wonderful boy'' That was what appeared on the screen.

''For a thousand time, Louis Tomlinson, stop changing your name on MY phone.'' I said, pretended a seriously warning tone. Everytime Lou had a chance to touch my phone, he changed his name in the contect list into something totally different, causing me lots of time whenever I wanted to call him. Last week, his names were ''Carrot superman'' and ''Red T-shirt''.

''You have to admit, that name is brilliant. And it's the truth. I'm...Ouch, babe! Stop it. You're my girlfriend, not my MOM.''

Louis stopped talking normally and turned to screaming. There was some hitting noise and another voice yelling at him. Seemed like somebody was trying to take the phone from Lou.

''Hello June''

After a few second of chaos, I heard Eleanor's soft voice talked to me.

''Hello Eleanor.'' I giggled ''Where's Louis?''

''Don't worry. I take care of everything.''

''Don't believe her, June. She's sitting on me.'' Louis screamed in the phone and I had to take my phone away from my ear.

''I'm not. And be quiet, Lou, I'm trying to talk to June here.''

''Okay. Just ignore that boy.'' Eleanor finally came back with me while Louis still complaining something. ''June, where're you right now?''

''I'm standing in somewhere near 'Strawberry Zone'.

''June, back to 'Banana Zone' immediately. We want you to meet someone.'' Eleanor said mysteriously.

''Who's that 'someone'? I asked.

''You'll find out when you come. Hurry up!''

Once again, Louis screamed in the phone and with no more explanation, they hang up.

''What's going on?'' I asked myself in confuse, standing like an idiot, looking at my cellphone and unaware of what had happened.

I rang the doorbell of 'Banana Zone' and waited. After two mins or so, nobody opened the door. That was weird. Normally Harry would run like a wind whenever he heard the doorbell. I decided to try and surprisingly, the door wasn't locked. What was wrong with everyone today?

I tiptoed in, tried to be very quiet. There were some whispers in the kitchen and I realized it was Liam's voice.

''Zayn, You was supposed to make sure Niall is here, right now. Where's he?''

''He kept saying that he would have lunch with Tina and he couldn't come back. I had tried my best to convince him but it was more than hopeless.''

April and Danielle were discussing something but I couldn't hear them properly anymore. I placed my back on the wall so I wasn't gonna fall as I felt every sound became impossible to hear. My head started spinning around madly.

''He kept saying that he would have lunch with Tina.'' Zayn's words appeared in my mind, so loud, so clear. So this was the beginning of a relationship, right? Why on earth did I believe he had no feeling for Tina Harrison? I had let myself fall in stupid love and now I stuck...

''What's a beautiful girl doing here, alone and looking so sad like this?''

An unfamiliar voice spoke, making me startle. I looked up and saw a strange boy with brown hair and charming smile. He was tall and big. His hand was in his pocket while the other was placing on the wall next to my head, gave me no way out.

''Uhm..who're you?'' I asked surprisingly. I had never met this guy before.

''I'm Matt. Nice to meet you.'' He said. His hand was still laying at its place on the wall and having no intention of moving.

''Hey! Stop flirting my June. She's mine.'' I heard Louis' voice. Matt's hand left its position and released me. Louis had came and separated us apart.

''Is he scared you? He always thinks he can walk around, scared someone short like you with his height.'' Louis said in protective tone, gave Matt a warning glare. He patted my head and then hugged me ''I miss you so much.''

''We met last night, Lou. Not last century.'' I let out a laugh, patted his back.

''An evening is too much for me.''

Soon, everyone gathered around me. Each of them gave me a big squeeze hug. Okay, why everyone acting like they hadn't seen me for ages?

''It seemed like you've met Matt, my handsome cousin.'' Danielle introduced, smiled at me.

''I have, indeed.'' I said and held out my hand. This time, we actually shook hand and with my surprise, Matt winked at me.
