Maids in Holiday: Chapter 19

A/N: So I have thought a lot about writing part 2 of "Maids in Holiday". I have a lot of idea for Niall and June's relationship after they truly became a couple. Please tell me how do you think about part 2? Any suggestion?

CHAPTER 19

June's POV

The boys and the girls came to pick us without Niall. Liam said that he had to come to the party earlier to prepare for their song, Tina and Niall's song. Urghhh, why could I just ignore everything? Why I kept thinking about Niall, feeling jealous even though I knew clearly that he wasn't mine?

Back to the story, the van was very crowded tonight. Liam, Danielle, Eleanor, Perrie, Zayn, Matt, April, Harry, Louis the driver (he insisted me on calling him that). Everyone looked very different in their formal clothes. Even Louis looked more mature than ever. Suddenly, I came up with the desire of seeing Niall wearing his suit.

"You look beautiful tonight." Matt's voice drew me back with the reality.

"Oh! Thank you! You too!" I said "I meant, you look handsome, not beautiful."

"Why are you looking so nervous?" Matt seemed to notice my weird action. He looked at me right in my eyes, making me more confused. I turned away, looked at my hand to avoid acting stupid in front of Matt.

"I don't know. Maybe it's because this is the first time I go to a party." I lied. What was I supposed to say? That I was nervous because I was about to see my crush singing with another girl?

Luckily, Matt just nodded and didn't ask anything else. I turned around and caught a smirk from April. Wait, what was she having in her mind this time?

Niall's POV

I excused myself as I saw the boys and the girls came.

"Hey guys!" I said happily and hugged them.

Eleanor was standing next to Louis, Danielle was holding Liam's hand, Perrie was helping Zayn fixing his suit, April was talking to Harry and my eyes stopped at June. She was stading next to Matt. Everyone, with the help of the waiter, found their table quickly.

"June!" I called her name and grabbed her hand, pulling her aside to talk alone with June.

"Hi Niall!" She gave me a weak smile.

"Can I talk  to you for a second?"

"Sure." She nodded shortly.

We walked in silence. I took a deep breath to have courage.

"That dress is so adoralbe" I spoke. Gosh, "that dress"? Was I supposed to compliment June?" I thought "I mean, You're adorable...in that dress".

June giggled at my confuse.

"Well, you look fabulous in that suit too. I'm not quite use to see you not wearing pyjamas pants and T-shirt, Niall."

"Hey! That was because I'm at home. Nobody saw me" I defended, making June laugh. Ohhh, I really really missed her laugh.

"Yeah right!" June rolled her eyes.

"Listen, Can you...?"

"Niall, there you are!" Tina ran to us and interupted my sentence "You have to get on stage now. The guests have come and we have been late for 5 minutes."

"Oh. It's our perfomance. Good luck Niall!" June smiled gently to me. She pointed at the stage and before I could say anything else, she walked back to the table, joined with the conversation of everyone.

June's POV

I kept the tears from running out of the rims as I saw Tina introduced Niall, and everyone at the party clapped their hands. Niall walked out, looking confident and comfortable in his suit, with one hand holding the guitar and the other hand was holding Tina's hand. His childish smile pulled me into some kind of charm, just like always.

"Take my hand, I teach you to dance

Spinning around, won't let you fall down...."

The music started and Tina, looking attractive and shining, started singing. I had seen Tina on the stage many times but I had never seen she was this happy. Maybe she was really into Niall, just like I did, or more. She looked at Niall with sweet eyes and Niall, as professional as he was, smiled to everyone and sang:

"Will you let me lead?

You can step on my feets

Give it a try, it will be alright..."

Yes, "it will be alright". Everything was going to be alright in the end. My mind suddenly was being taken back to the first day Niall and I met. Everything was so perfect, so meaningful. Before that day, I would never have had an idea of me having a love from one side with Niall Horan - a super star. Before that day, if somebody told me I was gonna fall in love with him, I would have laughed until I couldn't breathe. Before that day, everything would have been so ridiculous but now, it was what happening right now. It had been a long time since I last fell in love with somebody, so deep like this. And now, he was singing with another girl and I barely thought he still knew I was here. Even though April had said that singing together meant nothing but how could I stop myself from not thinking in that way?

I faked a smile and asked myself to be focus on their song. I thought I could smell Niall's scent now. HIs aftershave, peppermint breath and specially, the smell of cookie, the smell always made me feel comfortable and peaceful. I looked up and tried not to show any hurt on my face.

"You're doing great. You're a strong girl, June." I encouraged myself.

Niall's blue eyes met mine exactly when I looked up. It was like he had been waiting there long to look into my eyes. I tried to look away but there was a strength pulled me back. My heart pounded like crazy in my chest. I felt nervous. I felt disappointed. I felt tired.

"I love you, Niall. But it doesn't matter anymore because right now, you're having a great time with another girl, way more beautiful, way more smart and way more rich than me. I don't know why but I still can't stop my tears...." I tried to speak to Niall through our eyes connection one last time before looked away and broke it. I had made my own decision, a decision was good for Niall, for Tina, for everyone and specially, for my broken heart.

"Good bye, My Smiley Boy...."
