"Again!"
"What?!"
"Gabi you need to try harder, you've left the clinic three weeks ago, you have to get back in shape."
"I am in shape."
Ty kicked me and I fell hard on the ground, glaring at him. His right fist slammed into my jaw and I stood up to throw myself at him.
"You son of a bee!"
He started snorting.
"A bee?"
"Your mother is nice, I'm not insulting her."
"You don't know my mother."
"Okay she sounds nice on the phone. I eavesdrop sometimes."
He shook his head right as I lunged to grab his hair, shoved his head down and brought me knee up. Blood started dripping on the mat. He tried to dodge my next kick but failed and fell on his ass.
"I'm in shape you asshat," I spat, turning my back and leaving.
He growled and yanked me back. Before I registered it he was straddling me and his hands were around my throat. I started panicking then, and went completely still. Ty paled and removed his hands.
"Sorry Gabi, I didn't..."
"I'm fine."
I pushed him away to stand and left without a word. I met Gael on the corridor and he blocked the way with a smile.
"Not now asshole."
"You seem upset, little girl."
I frowned when I saw how smug he was.
"What's your fucking problem man? Drop the dickhead act and start behaving as a proper person. You're not royalty here. And if you keep going, I'll make sure you end up packless sooner rather than later."
He narrowed his eyes but didn't comment. I pressed him to the wall and went to the kitchen, where my dad was talking with Will and Scott. My mate looked at my face and frowned.
"Babe?
" We need to do something about Gael. He's behaving like a fucking jackass and I can't stand it anymore. Dad please, deal with him because if he doesn't stop his bullshit right now, I'll kill him."
Dad looked at Scott and they started talking mind to mind, cutting me out.
"Hello, right here, stop the secret conversation."
I glared and left to go back upstairs. Scott followed me and swore when I almost closed the door to his face.
"What's going on?"
I sat on the bed and crossed my arms on my chest.
"I'm mad."
"Yeah I gathered, is there a specific reason?"
"Ty is training me harder than ever, and I am tired, Gael is messing with my head, my dad trains me so I can become the new fucking alpha, Ethan and Frank are still avoiding me, and on top of that my cousin is moving in my bedroom..."
I stared at the cardboard boxes and scowled. Scott was suddenly silent and I raised a brow.
"What?"
"You don't want to move in with me?"
"Really? I pour my heart out and that's all you remember? Of course I want to move in with you dumbass, I just don't want to leave my house. This is where I grew up, where my mom..."
I inhaled and looked at the vanity table.
"She decorated the room you know. She chose every single piece of furniture here."
"We'll take the furniture with us," he says softly.
"I know. Sorry."
"That's alright, I didn't like leaving my home either when Aaron took over."
He sat on the bed and I rested my head on his shoulder.
"Jackson's home is really close. Five minutes from here. You can still come here all the time."
He cupped my chin and forced me to look at him.
"And if you can't stand it there, we'll come back and kick your dad out."
"Uh, I'm not moving in my parents's bedroom."
He pressed his lips against mine and kissed me softly.
"I love you."
Shit, did I just say that out loud?
