the rain on my neck and stomach
the cold wind on my back
the wet clovers and grass between my bare-feet
the roaring of the highway
the swaying of the baby peach tree almost nodding to the old gum tree
my cat staying at me through the window
my chest out of the lame excuse of a binder
the thought of you holding me
my arms and knees soaking in raindrops almost like tiny kisses
the spark of lighting followed by the boom of the thunder
my dog by my side, running with me
letting out my inner animal
the lights shining on the water drops just right so you can see the tears of the sky but they are happy tears
like mine
