I came down the stars when I heard knocking on the front door. Leah stood there, looking beautiful as always. I felt my heart pick up. Oh gosh... was I... was I in love with her?! My totally straight best friend? Oh, dear lord.

"Hey, Lee." I smiled and hugged her. Imogen ran in her toddler way and hugged my leg. I picked her up and lightly kissed her forehead.

"Momma, do you have to?" She pouted. I smiled hugely.

"I'll be back in a few hours, baby." I whispered softly and stroked her back. Lily came out then and smiled at Leah and I.

"Okay, Momma." Gen muttered as I put her down. She ran into her grandmother's arms and I smiled. Leah held my hand.

"Have her back before midnight." Lily said. I rolled my eyes, but on the inside, my heart was overwhelmed with a warmth. She really cared about me, my sister and our daughters. I loved her.

"I will, Lily. You know me." Leah smiled at Lily. Dad gave a stern look to Leah that said 'I will kill you if you hurt my daughter' and I knew the look because I'd given it to so many people at the Camp.

Leah led me out and to her car. It was a small car, an older one. It was nice. She opened the door for me and I blushed.

"Thank you." I smiled at her. Tonight. Tonight I had to tell her. I couldn't keep my emotions hidden. There wasn't much I couldn't do, but hiding my emotions was one of those impossibly done things.

We pulled out of the restaurant's parking lot. It was just a fun time, we laughed and joked and flirted. She whispered some loving things in my ear, and I kissed her a lot.

"Where are we goin'?" I smiled at her.

"To the forest. I have something I need to show you, Hilly." she said. All the joking and fun was out of her voice, and I knew it was something serious.

"O-okay..." I looked away, scared. Was she going to do something? Tell me something about Bella and the Cullens? What was going to happen?

As we pulled up to the forest, she helped me out. We held hands for a while, and I didn't mind the heat. I loved it. I'd always been one of those I-prefer-warmth-over-slippery-gross-cold-stuff types.
"Hill... did you study the Quileute legends? The ones about... how my people descended from wolves?" She asked me when we got far enough in.

"Yeah. It was one of my favorite ones to study... why?" I nodded slowly.

"They're not legends, Hilary. They're all true. I'm a werewolf, shapeshifter. I'm the only girl in the pack. Sam, Jacob, Seth, Quil, Embry, Collin are all wolves. Sam is an alpha to his pack, and Jake is Seth and I's alpha. When Bella got pregnant, we split because it was right to Jake and Seth, and I followed my brother. I'm telling you this, because... we have this thing. Imprinting." She told me. I was staring at her.

"Leah-" She cut me off.

"Imprinting is when you meet the one. Gravity moves, and it's her holding you to the Earth. You'd do anything for her, be anything for her. Whatever it is she needs; a friend, a sibling, a best friend, a lover. It's... kind of like love at first sight, but not really... it's more intense. More... territorial. You have to protect her... be with her, or you'll start to die. I'm telling you this because... I-I imprinted on you." She explained. I stared at her, shocked.

"Leah... I... wow." I stared at her.

"I know, it's a lot to take in. I understand if you need some ti-" I cut her off, wrapping my arms around her neck and kissing her. She kissed me back and wound her arms around my waist.
I pulled back a bit, shaking my head.

"Leah. I love you." I whispered softly. She smiled hugely.

"I love you, too. More than you'll ever know." She whispered back, kissing my cheek softly. I blushed.

"I have something to tell you, too..." I looked at her.

"Anything." She smiled at me.

"I'm not... human. I'm a witch. I'm immortal, and I'm always going to... be young. I can use magic, and... yeah." I blushed.

"Can you... you know...?" Leah asked me, blushing. 

"Y-yeah." I blushed brightly.

"Can you... have kids?" Lee asked me softly. I nodded.

"Okay. It doesn't change anything, my love." My soulmate told me. I blushed and kissed her softly.
