Prologue

Haruno Sakura

Its been a two years since Sasuke left Konoha and still, I can't believe that Sasuke finally learns to forgive and all the hatred that he has been carrying in his heart is finally over. But...does he really have to leave?

He can actually stay here. We already forgive him, the whole Konoha. Besides, Naruto and I would be happy if we will all together back again, going on different missions. That would be happy, won't it?

We can start a new life again, like before. Happy, doing everything we wanted. From trying to reveal Kakashi-sensei's face again, or eating ramen at the same time and of course, it's Kakashi-sensei's treat like before.

What am I saying? We're not kids anymore. We can't just run in the streets like we used to.

Yeah, maybe. We should think like adults now. And besides, we can't do missions anymore because Team 7 is gone, because our captain is already a hokage.

"Sakura?"

It's Ino.

I was walking down the streets when I bumped into her, and now here we are at her flower shop talking about something.

About Shika's feelings towards Temari, Gaara the Kazekage's sister.

"I'm sorry, I spaced out. Were you saying something?"

"Thinking about Sasuke again, huh? Don't worry, he loves you."

She chuckled.

Love me?

Does he really do?

Well, I don't think so. If he really does, he could have told me since then.

"As I was saying, someone told me that he saw Shikamaru with Temari, again."

She said.

"Since when did they start dating? I thought Temari doesn't even like Shikamaru, and as we can see, Shikamaru doesn't even know what really romantic love is. He never felt it since then."

I said. Yes, it's a big news for us when we saw them together on the barbecue house, eating together, having quality time.

"Uhm, a while ago, he asked me on what do girls commonly like to a guy. I don't know what to answer, actually. I never fall in love to a guy before aside from Sasuke-kun."

Sasuke-kun?

I frowned. She really have the guts to call Sasuke that way in front of me, huh?

She chuckled.

"I'm just kidding, Sakura. Sasuke is all yours now."

She said and laughs.

"How's Hinata?"

She asked.

"I don't know either. But I guess, she's with Naruto."

Last week, me, Shikamaru, Naruto, Hinata, and Sai went on a mission all together. It was then Naruto confessed his feelings for Hinata. I guess he figured it out when Hinata was kidnapped by Tonari and took her to the moon. Well, we all don't know the whole story because they just told us that they are already official. I asked Hinata about it, but she refused to answer.

When we got back home, Kakashi-sensei told me something. Something that I didn't really expect.

"When a big part of the moon is about to crash the whole Konoha, he came. He came to save us all. Without his help, I guess we would all be dead now. But, he left again after crushing that meteor."

Funny, isn't it? He didn't even stay just for a while, and wait for us to come home.

"Oiiiii! You guys!"

Ino and I looked at the direction on where the shout came from. It's Choji and Kiba.

Wait, Kiba? Where's Shikamaru?

They ran towards me and Ino.

"What is it?"

Ino asked them.

"Well, we're here for Sakura. Lord Sixth wants you on his office. Naruto and Hinata as well as Sai are also there."

Kiba answered.

Kakashi-sensei wants me on his office?

"I think he'll give you a mission, Sakura."

Ino said and smiled.

I smiled at them and bid them goodbye and quickly went to Kakashi-sensei's office.

Third Person

When Sakura arrived at Lord Sixth's office, she saw Sai, Hinata and Naruto in there, like what Kiba told her earlier.

"Oh, hi Sakura!"

Naruto greeted her while Sai just smiled on her.

"Hello, Sakura!"

Hinata greeted her.

"Well, you guys are now complete. I guess we should all start now."

Said Kakashi.

"What is it, sensei?"

Hinata asked.

"A strange disappearance of the Hidden Leaf anbu occurs on the western part of the Lightning Country. A witness told us there are sightings of a strange man lurking in there."

He said.

"Well, at first, we thought it is just like any other rebelion shinobi, but then a news confirmed who is he."

The white hair half-Sharingan eyed owner continued.

"And...who is that guy, sir?"

The pink haired kunoichi asked.

"It's Danzo."

The four shinobi were shocked about the news that the Lord Sixth told them.

How could it happen that an old man who died a long time ago will be back?

"B-but sir...are you sure?"

Naruto asked, confused.

"Yes I am, well, it is based on the description of that strange man that is sent on us by a Hyuga Anbu. It says that, 'an old man wrapped with white cloth on his right eye, and hiding his right arm using a blue cloth, he also have this strange chakra forming on his right eye that also happen to have on his right arm. Most importanly, the chakra looks like a Sharingan.' So who could it be? The only one who do have a lot of Uchiha eyes on his arms is Danzo."

Shocked expression plastered on the four shinobi's faces. Who wouldn't be shocked? That man was killed two years ago and now, someone told them that he is alive.

"Why are you telling this to us, Sir?"

Sai finally spoke.

"It's because you'll have this mission, to invesigate on what's happening in there. I already told the Raikage that we will be in there for some days for the investigation."

"We?"

The four shinobi asked him.

"Yes, we. I will be your team captain this time, and I'll leave Shikamaru here as the incharged. We'll be leaving tomorrow, you have one day to prepare."

The Lord Sixth continued. You can see the excited expressions on the faces of Naruto and Sakura because they will be doing again a mission with their former Captain as well as Hinata. While Sai, something is bothering him.

Is Danzo really back?

He thought.
