Rebecca is practically the main and focused child.
She works hard in her studies too, so she isn't your regular spoiled0 brat. Although she may be winning mom's love, she still loves Layla I guess.
But she hardly shows it now, because well.. she sort of forced to hate Layla because Layla and Mom got into a fight about grades (will be shown soon) so it's kinda awkward for mom but it's depressing for Layla.
What happened to her dad you may wonder?
Well he's busy at work so he barely comes home. Did I mention?
They are hypocrites basically. Mom is a famous singer, Dad is a manager in the most prestigious hotel, Rebecca is very good at playing the piano, and Layla is... well nothing.
They have to act as the post "Perfect Family" so they don't damage their reputation. BUT honestly, Layla doesn't care. All of her family have talents but it seems she is not showcased. She has a talent for drawing and yeah pretty much that's it because she has a lot of drama happening.... so she can't embrace the talent.
Trying to be the Golden student she is, she has to act like it in every single way. Sometimes she has to play dirty to be the best.
Which is unfair, to be honest, but it's not like she doesn't want to anyway, because she usually puts emotion to things she does.
Hopefully one day, Layla will be recognised as the person she is and will be accepted for who she is. But still
looking at the facts here, that is unlikely, and when I say unlikely, I mean impossible.
