Mariana's POV
My shift at the diner was about to be over and Jack still hasn't shown up. I checked my phone behind the counter, and he didn't text me. Usually he would if he couldn't make it. The clock hit six that evening, and I put her stuff in my locker. "Bye Mom, bye Dad," I replied as I grabbed my keys and phone from behind the counter.
"Where are you going?" Mom asked.
"I'll be fine," I stated. I got into my car and drove to their bunker. I walked inside. "Hello?" I walked downstairs and checked the study. A blonde-haired lady was sitting there, reading a book. "Hi, you must be Mary Winchester. Sam and Dean's mom."
"And you are?" Mary asked.
"I'm Jack's girlfriend, Mariana," I replied. "Uhm, Jack didn't show up at the diner so that we could hang out after my shift. I was wondering if he was still here."
"Let me grab Sam," Mary nodded as she left the room. She walked back in with Sam. "Here you go."
"Hey, M," Sam stated.
"Hey, is Jack okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's fine," Sam sighed. "He's just, uhm, resting up."
"Why is he resting up?" I asked.
"You remember how Dean had Michael in his head?" Sam asked. I nodded. "Well, Jack killed Michael and consumed his grace. He's powers are now at full capacity and we're not sure if we should allow him to be out just yet."
"You guys trust me," I replied. "He'll be fine."
"M," Sam sighed.
"Hey, look, if anything goes wrong, I'll call," I nodded. "Jack will be fine with me. You know that. I kept him from using his powers and burning out his soul before you guys got rid of Michael." I looked at Sam. "Can you guys please trust me?"
"Okay, fine," Sam sighed. "Come on." I followed Sam to what looked like a hospital room. "Jack, your girlfriend is here."
"Mariana," Jack smiled. "Sorry I didn't text you."
"It's okay," I smiled. "You're okay, and that's all that matters."
"You're right," Jack nodded. "Am I good to go hang out with Mariana?"
"Yeah," Sam nodded. "Have him back by eleven."
"You got it," I replied. We got into my car and I drove us to a carnival in town. "Come on." Jack and I held hands. "So, since the day you were born, how old are you exactly?"
"Two years," Jack stated. "But to everybody else, I am twenty-two years old."
"Wow," I replied. "I shouldn't be dating such a young boy. That would make me a cougar."
"Are you breaking up with me?" Jack asked.
"No, Jack," I smiled. "I like you. You're literally like the one good thing in my life."
"Oh, good," Jack smiled.
"Look, cotton candy," I pointed. We walked over to the stand and I bought one. I put a little bit in my mouth. "Try it." Jack took a small piece and put it in his mouth. "What do you think?"
"It just disappears," Jack smiled. "It's sweet."
"Yeah, it's really good too, but don't eat too much or you'll get cavities," I nodded. We finished the cotton candy together and walked to the river. We sat on a bench and watched the sunset. "I've been having a good time with you, Jack."
"Me too," Jack replied. "Should we do anything else?"
"I don't know," I shrugged. "What do you usually do?"
