why not equality

There is so much inequality and hate in the world, I'm not just talking about gays, but gender roles and racism and that we still judge. It kills me. We are better than this. We should love one another, and if that's not possible, then tolerate each other out of respect. But not hate, not judge, not discriminate because of ones gender, sexual preference, age, or race. We are so screwed, this generation. Using terms like "you're only a girl" for guys to remind females that they should be weak, and not equal to them.

Or the term "that's so gay" just because there isn't a better insult to rely on. Our generation and the ones after us are just fueled on what we hear on TV and the radio and what we are told! But we don't experience. We should see the hate, the discrimination, the abuse in person. We should see that the term "that's so gay" really has an impact. We should SEE that the things we think are harmless or cool to reenact really do have an impact on someone. We should see people like us Who are hurt, abused, killed. People exactly like us! We are the generation of stereotypes, name calling, physical and emotional abuse.

And we need to change that.
