Bright light slips through the blinds, luminating the empty and dark room. The dust within the house danced under the sunlight and the howling wind from outside crept in through the balcony.

Although it was no different than a regular apartment, it was a new chapter for my life. My eyes sparkled at the sight of the plain bedroom. It was nothing special.

The house had all the necessaties. Toilets, kitchen, living room, and all that stuff. The furnitures were already moved in. However, my items weren't. Sooner or later, I have to buy necessary items.

I looked at my luggage.

Fucking hell-

My faint smile was cleanly wiped off from my mouth the moment my eyes laid on the boxes outside my gates. Is this what I get after multiple hours of spending my time in the airplane just to find this place?

Haha, thank god for neighbours.

Except, none of my neighbours are available at the moment.

So, like I said before.

Fucking hell.

Sighing, I begin to put my books onto my shelf. I suppose the others could wait. Besides, university starts tomorrow.

What's social life and friends again?

Woah, the place is huge. With that being said, when there's a huge and beautiful place, there is bound to have a lot of people.

How joyful.

"Li Jing!"

Wonderful. I took a swift glance at the boy. I have no idea who he is. Did I know him or did he mistaken me for someone else? Anyways, I just want to be left alone for now. Shaking, blushing and trembling. Things couldn't get worse right now.

The boy didn't stop. Instead, he just went z o o m.

Yes. A person whom I do not know charge towards me. Please help. Everyone is staring at me and it's just my first day. The awkwardness is already running through my veins. This is truly amazing.

"Li Jing! Don't you remember me?"

No

"Not at all,"

Blunt 100

"I'm Ashley's brother, Alden. You know Ashley right? She was your senior in that debate club of yours,"

"That explains the hypeness.." I mumbled to myself. The boy's smile was cute yet irritating. It runs in Ashley's family, I guess. Oh god, even their names are alike. Though, that's not really surprising.

"What do you major in?"

I guess he is adorable like Ashley too.

"Political science,"

"Me too! Wait till I introduce you to all my friends!"

Great. Just great. At times like this, I wonder how people that are so outgoing and straightforward exists. Ainsley keeps on blabbering on how his sister is annoying and how he is excited for this mew experience. By this point, I could see his friends in a distance.
