BUCKY POV:
I get up from the couch "Aurora?" She smiles "It is you!" Stark clears his throat "You trained her?" "Yeah. They brought me a little kid and told me she was a super soldier. I had to train her, I was only with her for a couple months but I'd recognise those eyes anywhere." Her eyes turn pink and she looks away from my gaze, I chuckle and her cheeks turn a little pink "You've been there all this time?" "I did escape, then I found these people." "Good job, kid." I place my metal hand on top of her head, Stark interrupts again "Did you say super soldier?" I nod and Aurora speaks "I'm weaker at the moment because of my injuries."She's injured? Why hasn't anyone looked at her?
I turn to the man closest to me "Banner, do you mind?" "Not at all, let's go." I take Aurora's right arm in my metal one and lead her to the elevator, Banner and Natasha follow, as the doors close I see a lot of confused faces. Once in the infirmary I help Aurora onto the bed and Banner speaks "Are we talking injuries from today?" "And before." "Let's get this coat off." She takes off the coat, there's blood on her front so she lifts up the bottom of her tank top, to reveal a deep stab wound, Natasha speaks "Why didn't you tell us you got stabbed?" "This was yesterday." "Then wouldn't it have healed by now?" I speak up "If I remember correctly she isn't like Steve and I, she has the strength and stamina, but I don't think she has the faster healing or enhanced senses." Banner questions the stab wound "Why did they stab you?" "I didn't dodge it quick enough." She shrugs, as Banner has a look over her injuries Natasha leaves to rejoin the others.
STEVE POV:
When they leave for the infirmary the rest of us grab some food and discuss the mission, when Nat walks into the living room we all look over to her "Right, so Bucky said Aurora isn't like you-" She points to me "She has increased strength and stamina, but he thinks that's it. Bruce is now having a look over her injuries." I nod "Alright. Stark, can you set up a room for her and Nat, can you get her some clothes?" They both nod and get into the elevator, I sigh "Why would HYDRA give the super soldier serum to a child?" Barton makes a suggestion "Maybe they wanted to see what effect it would have on her. Because, take a look at her, she's short, skinny, she doesn't look like a super soldier at all. But she is."True. But I still don't understand why.
A few hours later Banner and Buck walk in, Banner speaks "Nat's taken Aurora to her room, going to get her in the shower before bringing her here for dinner. She doesn't have any fatal injuries, she's malnutritioned and rather underweight, but she'll recover alright. I did take a sample of her blood while I had her, to help us find out who she is, Tony's working on it now." I notice Buck looking a little strange, I nod to the balcony and head out there, a minute or so later he joins me "You care for her." "I guess." He sighs "She was just a little kid, Steve. Couldn't have been older than 6 and ever so small. I didn't even train her for long before being frozen again, then when I woke up the first thing I did was ask when I would be training the kid again." He chuckles "I even named her."
He's why she's Aurora?
"They told me I wouldn't be training her anymore, that they were going to change some things, I never saw her again." "Well, now that she's here you'll be a great help with looking after her." "Banner mentioned finding out who she is. You won't." "Why not?" "I don't know who her parents were, but she's from HYDRA, she's always been there." "You mean her parents were HYDRA?" He shrugs "Or they stole her, but HYDRA would cover their tracks. If she was stolen then her parents are long dead."
