PART 3.

NATASHA POV:
The young woman trailing behind Cap looks absolutely terrified and freezing cold, Cap speaks "These are my friends. Natasha, Thor, Clint, Sam and Tony." She glances around at us "Y-You said five n-names." Cap nods "Yeah." He then walks over to each of us, touching our shoulders as he says our names "... and Tony." She looks at the pair and takes a step forward, I notice her eyes change from a bright green to a bright orange.

Am I the only one who saw that?

I look around at the others to see them all looking at her curiously, she takes another step forward "Wh-where?" Tony replies "Right here, kido." He waves and she walks even closer, curiosity written all over her face, Tony flips up his mask, the young woman lets out a scream and jumps back, nearly falling backwards. Sam and Clint snigger, Sam speaks quietly "At least I'm not the only one who thinks his face is-" Tony points a finger at him "Don't finish that sentence, Birdie." "Look, you've traumatised the poor girl." I look to the young woman to see her eyes are wide and once again green.

Did I just imagine them orange?

Tony approaches her and she backs away "Just relax, alright?" He then turns to us "Maybe we should focus on the HYDRA base around here." "Y-You know who th-they are?" He turns back to her "Yeah, why do you?" "I-I live there." Tony frowns "In that condition? Sweetheart, what's your bedroom like?" She eyes him cautiously "Bedroom?" "Yeah, where you sleep?" "W-Well, I thought it was c-cold, but noth-thing like out here." He folds his suit arms over his chest "How comfy is your bed?" "M-My what?"

She's a prisoner for sure, is she an experiment or kept for some other sick reason?

He takes a deep breath "How long have you been there?" "F-For as long as I-I can remember." As Tony starts yelling at the trees and the sky about how much he wants to destroy all of HYDRA for putting a kid through whatever she's been through, I notice that she's not wearing shoes and is a shivering mess. I lean on Clint as I untie my left boot, he questions it "What are you doing?" "What I can." After pulling my sock off I and putting the boot back on, I do the same for the other foot, I then approach the young woman "Hey." She looks at me cautiously, I hold them out to her "Put these on." She looks down at my outstretched hand "What are 'these'?"

She doesn't know what socks are!?

"Uh, socks. They go on your feet to keep them warm. Since we're in snow you'll have to be carried though, you can't walk in those." She nods hesitantly, I take her hand and lead her to a fallen tree, she sits down and I put the socks on her freezing feet, I then look back to my friends "Anyone got a coat for...?" I look back to the young woman "I'm sorry, we never asked for your name." "Aur-rora." I smile "For Aurora." Cap hands me a coat and I wrap it around Aurora, she slips her arms into the sleeves and it engulfs her. Cap speaks "Aurora, I'll carry you." He kneels down with his back to her and I help her onto his back, he then stands up "Alright, I'll take Aurora to the quinjet, the rest of you find the HYDRA base, but don't attack until I return."

Maybe Aurora can help us find it quicker.

I speak up "Actually, Aurora, do you know where the base is?" She nods "Could you lead us there?" "I-I don't want to go b-back there. Th-they'll punish m-me." Clint speaks "We won't let them hurt you, you're safe with us." She looks hesitant but nods, so Cap takes the lead with Aurora pointing the way, whenever we hear movement we stop and hide as the HYDRA Agents pass us by. When we arrive at the edge of the forest we all crouch down and come up with a plan, we decide to keep Aurora with us rather than wasting time running back to the quinjet and returning.
