Dedicated to my Best Friends. You know who you are. (:

Laughter is the result of the complicated equation of good friends on a happy evening. When you click with someone, it just happens. And if it's natural that you guys belong together, then it's most likely you will stay together. Many friendships are accidental. It's like ur friendship is an oops baby. You say to yourself, "Wow I didn't mean to create this with you, but i'm glad I did!" And I'm proud to say that I've created many oops babies. Okay that sounds so weird, but you get what I mean. In a way friendship is very much like a child in the way that we watch it grow, we nurture it, and the more we take care of it by making the right choices for it, the stronger it becomes. If we don't then it dies and making a new one can be difficult. So like any good parent, we try not to get to that point in our friendship where it isn't healthy.
Honestly, I find it so fascinating how much a friendship can grow and how fast. Sometimes the people who you barely noticed can be some of the greatest people or friends you'll ever meet. For example, The best type of friends that I have come across are the ones that I feel so relaxed to be around. Those are the type people who make time fly when you're with them. With those types of friends, It feels so natural to be around them. Hence my best friends have this quality of being so chill. Anyways, with those people my friendship took time, of course. But since it felt so natural, our friendship is strong, and grew so large in comparison to the beginning of the year.
I think of the good times, the times that flew right past me and the friends I've made. With these thoughts I begin to worry because we won't be in the same school anymore, and the thought of losing what we have, our oops baby if you will, is such a scary thought. Each of my friends have taken something from me, whether it be little or large. They've taken time, effort, patience, but most of all they've taken a place in my heart. And the bestest friends (yes i realize bestest isn't a word.) Have taken so much from me, but have given me something huge in return, and that is a home. Not many friends can give you that, only the select few that really etch their way into your heart and that is what makes them so special. No matter how much I worry, though, I know it won't change anything.
So I enjoy the time I have with them now, and I embrace the change. I know if it was really meant to be, we will be friends forever, my friends who I have shared so much with. And with that being said, I know when we part ways, I won't have to miss them that much. Because although I will of course be missing them, I know that I will always have a place in their heart as they will in mine. That's more than I could ever ask for.
