In creating Satan God never meant to make a evil being, and Satan is not in fact truly evil. Satan was created to be able to sin. For God could not sin so they needed to create a powerful being that could. Thus Satan was made. Some will say that Satan is the child of God, but that is simply not true. God may have created Satan, but Satan is not their child. God breathed life into a cluster of beautiful stars, imagining the perfect being in their mind. A being of great prowess, one that could sin but still be loved. In doing this God created their own undoing.
God would never believe the effect that the wonderful Satan would have on them. Satan was charming in a way no one else could be, a sly smirk or a knowing smile would grace her face in whatever form she chose to take. When she laughed in was like a warm summer breeze a soft beautiful sound. A gentle softness was in her touch when she brushed against God's skin. Her voice was sweet like honey and let her get whatever she wanted. She was cunning but kind, never wishing one harm but still looking out for herself and having the random urge to do something wrong.
Whenever God was around her they were smitten and loved everything about her. Many aspects of Satan's disposition around God live on today in different forms. The melodious canary in reminder of her sweet laugh. The silky feel of cotton for her smooth touch of her skin. So much of Earth is God reminding Satan of the love shared between the two. For when they separated God reacted harshly and banished Satan from Heaven. You know the story of her exile and the loss of her wings but you didn't know the truth of why until now. In creating Earth with so much of their love in mind God was pleading for forgiveness from Satan and still is to this day. Pleading that the love they once shared could return again to the way it was before.
