Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ ４

You and Arthur were now stuck inside of a small room that had bodies laying around. You didn't know what you were doing but you hated having a familiar feeling. Your heart was beating out of control and you felt like you've gotten hotter now. Which made it hard for you to breath but since you unbutton only two to cool you down didn't work at all. Which you continued to search through the dead bodies and had nothing on them. Great.

"Oh god these aren't...oh god (Y/n) are you alright"

"IM FINE, JUST HURRY UP AND FIND A WAY OUT" you raised your voice which made your anxiety worse and your breathing including your head felt like it was gonna burst and numb. Luckily Arthur knew what was happening to you. He looked around the room and found ventilation which was enough to escape. Arthur pulled the small fence of it out with the jimmy bar as it pries opened.

You stood up shaking while you were about to climb up. Arthur offered his hand to help you which you gladly took as he pulled you up. You went in first he followed last.
"I suppose now that no one is actively trying to kill us I ought to be on the lookout for a motile dispenser. That chap at the bridge said I'd need a power cell and his war medals"

"Right the war medals I almost forgot about it"

As you slowly entered a men's bathroom. You saw one of the guys at the elevator earlier. But he wasn't one of the faces you recognize. You climbed out slowly with Arthur going behind him while putting him on the chokehold. As he carried him onto his shoulders.

"Where should we put him so no one could find him"

You looked around and found a lid with it. As you pointed at the trash can. Arthur put him there as you pushed his head down more while putting the lid on it.

"Hey, you were man enough to take out the trash"  you grinned while nudging him with your elbow hopefully getting the joke. Which he did the same expression as you did.

As you two went to a different area. Which you found yourself at the small kitchen kinda like. It didn't have much but only a small food can and some tin can. Which was enough for him you weren't hungry since the dead bodies made you lose your appetite? As you saw the door you opened it when you heard voices coming from down the stairs it wasn't far down it was just short. You crouched down and luckily there were some wood borders on the railing. Good thing you're short. As you saw three guards roaming around the area with a headlight helmet.

When you felt a presence behind you. You didn't know what to do you felt a hot breath on your neck to turned your head ready to throw a punch. When Arthur Scooch back from you with his hands up in surrender.

"Jesus Arthur don't scare me like that I could've hurt you" you whispered

"Sorry I thought you knew that I was beside you" he responded

As both of you saw every movement of the guards. They repeatedly did to walk around the area within every minute they passed. You looked around to find the exit but your eyes caught something else. You saw a room in which looks like it leaked some type of purple substance on the ground. You accidentally almost knocked down some glass bottles. Which gave you an idea.

"Arthur I have a plan"

He turned his head towards you ready to listening every word you said.

"I'll use the glass bottles to distract them while you go to the room over there" you pointed at the room before. He nodded in response as you did the same.

You held the glass bottle in your hands prepared to throw it. As you saw Arthur at the last step of the stairs hiding still waiting for your signal. As you threw the glass bottle it broke with a loud noise. Which it was able to get the guards distracted and go towards the ruckus. Right, when you turned your head back he was gone. And you threw another and another trying to keep them away from Arthur when you accidentally threw one at one of the faces. You held your giggles or laughter trying so hard not to let out a single one. You clamped your hand against your mouth containing it. As you breathed deeply but quietly enough to make sure the guards weren't looking.
