By the next week, things had settled down again, they even received a postcard from Ron and Hermione, who had found traces of her parents and had visited several parts of Australia, and they felt like that they were finally getting close to tracking Hermione’s parents down.
Harry and Ginny borrowed the postcard and re read it together, they agreed that the tone of the letter showed a closer relationship between the two of them, and the snapshot they had included showed Ron and Hermione stood before Ayres Rock, and Hermione was hugging Ron’s arm, who seemed very happy with the situation and not in the least embarrassed.
After seeing how well Ron and Hermione relationship was looking after spending some quality time together, Harry decided that it would be good if he and Ginny could spend some time alone together, he wanted to do something completely different to anything she might have done before.
After some serious thought about where he could take her in the magical world, he decided that there was no where she hadn’t already been or he could persuade Mrs Weasley to allow him to take her, so he started looking at non wizard attractions.
He managed to persuade Mrs Weasley that the place he wanted to take her would be so crowded with Muggles, that one no-one would expect a witch and wizard to go there, and they would be practically impossible to locate within such a large crowd anyway, so grudgingly she gave her consent. Harry kept the plans secret so Ginny knew nothing of his preparations, he was glad he was arranging this trip though, as Ginny was starting to get more morose with each day that they couldn’t spend more time together. Arthur had been a great help, when he heard of Harry’s plans he commented that many witches and wizards had also visited the attraction in the past, so many had wanted to try out the attractions that a special spot within the attraction had been cordoned off magically so magical people could apparate to a specific point with no chance of muggles spotting them appear.
Harry woke on the morning of the trip, he immediately checked the weather, he was relieved to see it was a clear fine day.
He arrived downstairs before Ginny, Mrs Weasley was already up cooking breakfast for Arthur and George, both of whom were sat at the large table.
“Morning Harry.” they chimed together.
“Morning, lovely day isn’t it.” He replied.
“Just right for a day trip out.” Winked George.
“I gave Ginny a call earlier, I am expecting her down in a bit.” Mrs Weasley commented.
Harry sat down at the table and had some bacon and scrambled eggs, by the time he had finished, Arthur and George had already left for work, and Harry was starting to get a little nervous. Finally Ginny appeared, looking a little despondent, though she flashed Harry a smile on seeing him sat at the table.
“Morning Harry, Morning Mum.”
“Morning Ginny, how would you fancy getting out of the house for a bit today.” Harry asked.
Mrs Weasley turned away to face the cooker to stop Ginny seeing her smiling.
“Oh yes, that would be lovely, where are we all going?” Ginny asked.
“Actually it will just be you and me Ginny, but I am not saying where, it’s a surprise!” Harry replied.
Ginny clapped her hands in delight, “oh go on tell me where”
“No.” Harry laughed, “You will just have to wait and see.” Harry said. “Can you be ready in 15 minutes?”
“Oh yes, will I need to wear robes?” Ginny asked. If they were going to somewhere in the wizarding world, you would normally wear robes over your normal clothes.
