I started to stir underneath the sheets, slowly waking from my deep slumber.

" Hey, stop shaking me. I'm awake." i grumbled

" was it chicken or meat?" Heechul smirked

" erm dafuq you say?" I threw him a 'wtf' face

" whatever, get up you have to get to the firm. Also, I have to get to the studio to practice the show I'm presenting tomorrow and I need to go shopping for the party we're going to this weekend"

"Heechul I'm not sure about the party. Didn't you say there would be like a lot of famous people there? And can you stop calling it a party? We all know that this event is not a place where we can can shag and get drunk" I rolled my eyes

"Yeah you've got a point, it's more of a soiree, but i still want you to come you're my plus one" he argued

"alright but you're picking me up along with jennie"

"Oh yeah I forgot Blackpink were invited" he mumbled

"Um everyone with a flippin fanbase is going" I said with a bored expression

I looked at Heechul catching him in deep thought.

I could tell he was lying but I let it slide.

"Bye" I replied as he leant over and gave me quick peck on the lips.

He headed out of the room and not long later I heard the front door close.

I got up from my bed and started to stretch

"Y/N you've got a long day ahead of you" I sighed while starting to get changed

Work

Working in Korea's best architecture firm was amazing. The atmosphere of the building and the strong work ethic of the employees were inspiring.

From when I first applied for my position to where I have come now is an absolute milestone. But of course nothing was handed to me on a silver platter.

I worked my ass off to be where I am now.

Growing up in a poor part of Korea didn't help either, but it did make me more resilient and more hungry for success.

Now, I'm part of the worlds leading architect firm. Damn! I'm proud o' maselfff.
