Violet p.o.v~
3 years later...
High school is like HELL!! Lucky for me, I'm a senior now so.... bow down to me. I had lost 3 years of my precious life to school, SCHOOL. I'm happy that this is the last year until I go to college and get out of here. You know they say that high school is much more better with friends, but I say otherwise. I'm going to be a lonely duck in a school full people with their own groups. Urgh. Can you imagine.
My old friend that moved schools said that I could be a popular because I have light electric blue eyes and blonde hair. She said that I would totally fit in, but I think that if I ever tried to be in that group it only be because of my looks. She didn't argue because she knew that I was right.
Right now I'm here trying to get a hold of my brother through Skype but no luck.
Ding.
"Hey lil sis!" Jace said happily.
Jace is a guy you wouldn't want to mess with. He may seem fun and carefree, but under that he is very protective of the people he loves. I should know because one of his 'friend' tried to take advantage of me, but instead he ended up in the hospital. That was a very dark time for all of us, especially for that 'friend' of his. You see don't mess with him.
Jace has dark brown hair and beautiful light chocolate brown eyes. He is very good looking which causes many girls to go after him. One day a whole group girls came to me asking for as much info about him that I could give them, me being his sister laughed in front of their faces and just walked away. Leaving a group of very pissed off girls.
"Hey big bro, I miss you a lot," I say emotionally.
"Aw," he cooed, "You do care about me."
"Ha, Ha, very funny but yes," I replied.
"Good because I missed you a lot to," he said.
"So... how is college life?" I asked.
"It's very exciting to meet new people each year, but this college is so boring it's the same thing all over again," he said annoyed.
"That must suck Jace," I said grinning at his expression, " Anyways aren't there like parties there that your roommate invites you to?"
"Yes, but I'm trying to keep the good boy look for our parents remember them," he waved his hand in front of the screen.
"I remember because I still have to live with them!" I say exasperated.
"Ya, I know," he replied casually, "How they're doing by the way?"
"They're doing quite fine, but they do miss you lot and they are very busy these days," I say sadly, "But the awesome part is that they let me do almost anything I want as long as I ask for permission."
As I say that, I see my brother's mouth hang open. I bite my lip trying to keep a straight face, but as many of you don't know I can't keep a straight face or poker face if you like that better.
"WHAT!"
In that moment I started laughing so hard that my cheeks and stomach hurt. And this is why ladies and gentlemen I love having a older brother.
"Hey!" he said with a pout on his lips, "That's not fair I should be the one able to do the fuck I want, but no they let you, YOU!"
"Chill dude, if it makes you feel any better it was a lie, sort of," I mumble the last part.
"Oh, thank god for a second I actually thought that they let you do that," he said with prayer hands, "By the way your life isn't interesting to say the least."
"Hey! That's mean, and your right though I miss her a lot," I look down.
"Hey, maybe this year you can find new friends to hang out with," he said trying to put a smile.
Ever since Jacklyn moved schools, it took a big toll on the both of us because she was like another part of our family, sister you may say. All three of us were like the three musketeers. I met her when I was in freshman year, and due to her parents jobs she had to switch schools. She was a carefree, bubbly, kind person and she has brown hair with hazel eyes unlike me.
"What about you, do you miss her?" I say testing him.
"Hell I miss her, she was the one out of the three of us that made us do all crazy kind of shit," he tried to lighten the mood and it did. As we talked I knew that he liked her and couldn't get her out of his head. It was him that she first got her nickname as Jack, ever since then they have their own private jokes which I don't mind because my brother needs a good girl like Jack. They'll make the cutest couple if you guys think about it.
We started laughing and talked for a little while longer until it was nearly time for his classes. We say our goodbyes until tomorrows Skype.
Until tomorrow. And the first day of school. Fuck.
