Violets p.o.v ~
I have just packed everything I needed for our new home. I still can't believe that I would have to move because of my dad's job and leave my friends behind. As I walk downstairs I'm faced with my older brother who is going to start senior year and I freshmen year. Urgh.
"You packed, yet?" Jace asked.
"Well if you mean my pride and ego then we're going to need more luggage" I teased myself trying to lighten the mood of never coming back.
He laughed, but then frowned.
"So is that a, yes?" he asked rather annoyed.
"Yes... sadly" I tried, but every time I try to make the mood lighter he always focuses on the bad things. Sounds like my brother.
We both got in the cab, our parents were already there in California fixing the house. And yes it's California, we live... we lived past tense in New Zealand. The only thing I'm excited is the warm conditions there.
The drive wasn't long until we reached the airport. We went through security and I took one last look at New Zealand that I'm never going to see again. We waited until we reached California were it will soon be Home Sweet Home. Here we go.

So I decided to post this chapter and maybe some others, but just a warning that basically all the chapters may be short. I just have been writing this book through some years and I still haven't even reached the 10 chapter mark. Now this explanation can basically show that I do write, but it won't be productive.
I just hope that whoever is reading this likes the story and the plot that would hopefully expand as I publish and write the story. Also as I said again the chapters would probably be short, so you have been warned. This is also my first book so.....
