Chapter 3: Let the spying begin

"Alex did you find anything in the book of realms?" Alex looked at Skrillex, shaking her head. She shut the book slowly, "I've looked in Realms 101, People Things Places and Myths, and All Things Whispered in the Night, they all give the same thing. What about you Alison?" She shrugged, "Does nothing count? Because that's what I have." We all looked at Celine. She was at one of the computers just like Skrillex. Skrillex whined, "Please tell us you found something Celine." Celine look up from the screen with a shrug, "I did-" They all smiled widely at those two words, "BUT..." She waved everyone over. Once they were crowding around the computer, a big sign was flashing reading 'Restricted Access. In the Archives.' Looking at one another questionably. Then all attention went to the castle like doors colored in an ash black paint, with a huge lock sealing it from the outside world.

~The Archives. It has said that when The Library of Golden Sun Academy was fully open, all doors unlocked. It was a library with an unlimited amount of knowledge for whoever wanted to learn. But this kind of knowledge drew a lot of unwanted attention from witches and evil spirits. So Lady Life sealed the door with an ancient seal, named Harmony that locks it from everyone. Knowing that there will be someone or thing that will get through she set tasks and obstacles that are too harsh for an expert mister and weapon. Plus even if you do defeat all of the tasks there is that Harmony seal. Harmony is able to steal bits of your spirit the longer your in whatever it's protecting the more of your spirit is drained. The only person who can 'disarm' Harmony is the blood of the person who created the seal. No one else, not even blood relatives. Once the person is ready to pass it on to someone in the family them it's their responsibility.~

They were standing in front of the scared doors, "I heard that a student went in there and died within 30 minutes." Celine whispered. Alison added, "What about the one who came back with claw marks inches deep all over their body?" Skrillex stated, "How about we stop talking about those stories right now and talk about it later." Alex looked at the door and mumbled, "There has to be another way...." Walking up a step closer holding her hand towards the wooden doors. Skrillex grabbed her arm before her fingure was even touching the door, "What are you doing?" Alex looked at her friend, "I think I'm going to use my powers. I'm the daughter of Lady Life, and sooner or later my brother and I are going to have to protect this room. So why not take a look in it now?" Celine placed her hand on Skrillex's shoulder pulling her towards them. Alison sent a mind messaged to Alex, "We'll keep a look out and try everything we can to stop someone from seeing you here." Alex nodded at Alison's response. Turning back to the door, pressing her hand on it, and closing her eyes. Taking a deep breath and shot her eyes wide opened. Her eyes were now white and her gains popped out around her eyes.

Alex saw everything on the other side with a quick motion, lines were drawn of the room. It was amazing a five story basement filled with huge shelves of books, everywhere there were piles and piles of books, tables and chairs made for reading, works of art mesmerizing to the human eye, and there they were the jail cells with monsters living- No.... Waiting for someone to enter and to detect the intruder's presence. Then her sights came across a blush blue door that seemed to change into a greenish color. "I'm sorry Ma'am but we're cleaning this area right at this moment." I heard Alison try to hold back someone. Then an older woman's voice came to, "I would know if we were cleaning the door to The Archives or anything near The Archives. Now Miss Carver, Miss Salx, and Miss Dlinme I have to get through." I need to hurry up. Alex thought as she took another deep breath and boosted her eyes even wider going through the door. There it was a whole room of.... Powers and Spells? I heard Alison's voice in my head, "We can't hold the Librarian back much longer. Can you hurry up?" She replied, "There are more doors with separate types of information. Can't you just say that you guys can put those books back for her?" Before she knew it the voice of Celine started, "We've been working here for a year now I think you can let us take care of the books, and you should... Uh" "Make sure that no one steals any of these amazing books!" Skrillex exclaimed. Alex then heard a swishing noise and Alison commenting, "We've got it from here. You can go and catch those thieves." Not long after Alex heard footsteps disappearing. Along with three other people coming near her.
