Chapter 14

After the vet left I kept on wondering about what he meant by saying that Princess is trying to tell me something about Alex. I know that he smokes weed but that's not so bad as to want to kill him. There must be something and I'm planning on finding out what it is.

We were all sat in the kitchen now and I kept on zoning out thinking about what the vet said. It just repeated over and over in my head.

"Viiiv!!" Sam shouted my name. I looked at her and just hmmed. "What is it you're thinking about?" she asked concerned. I looked at Alex who was looking at his hands.

"Oh I'm just thinking of what the vet told me." I replied truthfully.

"Oh" she gasped. "Is something wrong with Princess?" she asked getting really worried now.

"No, no she is perfectly fine. I was just thinking if she's fine then why she acted like that." I kept my eyes on Alex as I said the next line. "It's like she's trying to tell me something" he quickly looked up at me and that's when I knew that he is hiding something from me. My eyes are probably olive black I can feel it. I'm getting angry. The vet was right.

"Viv " Sam gasped again. "Your eyes -" she moved away from me. I twisted so she doesn't see my eyes and took deep breaths until i felt them change back into their normal brown color. I don't know why my eye color changes when I feel a really strong emotion it just happens. But it's kind of cool.

"I'm sorry" I whispered.

"Why did your eyes change colour?" Sam asked.

"Because I got angry" I spat out.

"Why were you angry?" Sam questioned me.

"Because .. Ughh I don't know I think I'm bipolar." I lied. I think. Alex hasn't said a word since the vet left. I stood up and walked out of my kitchen and went into my room. In about 5 minutes there was a knock on my door.

"Come in" I said and the door opened. Sam stepped in and came to sit down on my bed.

"Hey" she whispered sweetly.

"Hi" I whispered back.

"Viv, Who's Dave?" I shook my head on one side. I should tell her.

"He .. He was .. " I felt my eyes change color and tears were in my eyes. I looked up at her and she gasped when she saw my dark blue eyes. " He was my brother" and the tears fell out. They kept on falling and wouldn't stop no matter how much I wanted to stop. Sam seemed to understand and she just hugged me. She was comforting me and it seemed to work a little. Even thou I kept on crying. I pulled out of the hug and wiped away my tears.

"It's alright" Sam said. "Have you ever talked to anyone about this?" I shook my head no. "Talk to me. It helps when you share your pain with somebody instead of keeping it inside you"

"Okay" I told her then sobbed.

"What happened to your brother?" she ask quietly.

"Well .. since my parents are the leaders of the secret agency they have a lot of enemies. One night I woke up because it was really hot. I opened my bedroom door and saw flames. I ran to wake up my parents and then ran to wake up Dave but I was too late. The flames got to him first." I started to cry again. "I got out of my window and ran to his but all I saw inside was flames." I kept on crying and Sam was rubbing my shoulder to try and comfort me. "I was screaming his name. I didn't want to believe that he was gone. He was my twin and my best friend I just couldn't let go. Sometimes I see him, talk to him but its all just in my dreams and that's not enough for me. I want to hug him and to do everything we did together." I cried and cried. Sam just stood there and hugged me.

She was right thou. It did help a little to share your thoughts with someone.

"Sometimes I have nightmares of that night and they feel so real." I told her.

"Viv it's okay. We've all lost someone."

"Princess is Dave's horse. And since he died she took it very bad and didn't want to jump over anything. Even a can of Pepsi. She would walk around it" I then looked at her and smiled. "I think she likes you because you remind her of him." I then looked back into my lab. "There's something else."

"What is it?"

"The vet told me something." I looked at her. "He told me that since Dave has died Princess has been able to feel some things that other horses won't be usually able to feel. And she is trying to tell me something about Alex." I told her. "So I got angry today because when I mentioned the part that Princess was trying to tell me something, Alex looked at me really quickly and I saw regret in his eyes." I looked into her eyes. " I think Alex is hiding something and I want to find out what it is"

"What do you think that he might be hiding." Sam asked.

"I don't know but I really want to find out." I told her the truth.

"Thanks for sharing this with me." she smiled.

"Thanks for listening." I smiled. "And I'm sorry to freak you out with my eyes changing color thing" I chuckled.

"I actually think that it's pretty cool, but it gives away what you're feeling. By now I know that your eyes turn black when you're angry and dark blue when you're sad." she smiled.

"Yeh I guess I find it cool too. I wonder what other colors they can turn into"

"Hey I have an idea" Sam said happily. I looked at her and questioned her with my eyes. "Let's make a bucket list" she smiled happily. I rubbed off the remaining tears on my face and smiled. I got up and went to my desk to get some paper and pens. I went back to where Sam was on my bed and sat down next to her. I wrote on top of the page VIV AND SAM'S BUCKET LIST!! then put in some numbers.

"Okay what should be the first one?" I asked.

"Umm .. How about ... " she thought about it then said:" How about .. rock climbing?"

"Okaay .. But let's put that one last. We want something crazy" I then smirked." I have the most fantastic idea."

"Well??"

"Buy every single ticket for a concert and then go to it. The singer will be like wtf cuz it will be only us" I smirked evily. Sam started to laugh and I joined her.

"That's just brilliant."

"We're putting it down then." I told her then wrote it down as number one. "What next?"

"Try weed?" Sam asked.

"Okay" I put that down as number two. "What next?"

"U .. uuuu .. uuu .. how about throw a crazy party?" Sam asked.

"Okaay" I placed that down. I then wrote Sky diving again. Then I wrote Bungee jumping.

I then gave the list to Sam and she wrote Get a strange pet for the other person then get a normal one. I laughed at that one because I already knew what to get her. I took the paper from her and wrote Do the rickshaw run. Sam then saw it and asked what it was.

"It's traveling through the width of India in those little small car things. JacksGap did it."

"Oh okay." Then I wrote Go to Hawaii and walk around a day with grass skirts and coconut bras. Sam laughed at that one then I wrote Go to Doubai (I don't know if I spelled it right) and swim in that big tank that's full of all types of fishes. "I also saw that on JacksGap" I told Sam.

"Well that's 10 things let's leave it like that and when we finish the bucket list we can make a new one" Sam said and I nodded.

"Okay when do we start?" I asked.

"As soon as possible"

Soo I don't know why but I always update 2 chapters in a roll .. By I have a lot planned out .. xx
