Chapter 31

"Wake up, wake up, wake up. Come on it's Christmas!!" Someone shouted as I felt them jump on the bed. I moaned and crushed my head between the pillows to make the noise go away.

"Come on you guys, it's time for presents" Ugh why can't the pillow have like superpowers that mute things ( like annoying little people on Christmas Day) out. I felt the person getting closer to my face but before I could do anything they shouted again, and by them I meant her.
"Waki waki Viv" Sam sang. I slapped her on the head a few times and she winced. "Ouch! What was that about?"

"Where is the snooze button" I moaned angrily.
"I'm not an alarm silly. Now wake up. Both of you!"

"You are an alarm if you are waking me up" I argued back sleepy which made me wake up a little more. I felt Alex move beside me as he just wrapped his arms around me and snuggled closer.

"Come oooon you guuuuys" she moaned desperately.

"What time is it?" I asked decided to give her a chance.

"Oh it's just .. 6:30" she said slowly as if saying it slower would make it seem like a decent time to wake up someone.

"What!? Oh Heeeell Nooo!!"I screamed.

"It's Christmas after all"

"That's not an excuse " I answered back and I don't know if anyone has the same problem but when someone has a conversation with me in the morning I tend to wake up a little more with every word I say. I see that Sam noticed that so she carried on talking to me.

"Fine I'm awake!" I moaned while getting up. I looked at my phone to see what time it was and saw that it was 6:47. Wow it took Sam 17 minutes to wake me up.

"Finally!!" She signed and ran out of the room then came back " I may need help to wake Reed up" I looked at her with a smirk.

"I know a way" I said in a evil voice. After me and Alex freshened up we went into Reed's room. I took a bucket and filled it with ice cold water of course. We creeped slowly to his bed, Alex having his phone in hand, taking a video. I quickly spilled the whole water on top of Reed and screamed 'Merry Christmas'. He quickly jumped in shock still oblivious of what happened and when realisation finally hit him he just looked at me.

"You could have simply just pushed my shoulder slightly and ask me to wake up. Was all this really necessary?" He asked in a sleepy voice and he actually sounded mature. I mean I was expecting screaming and swearing but this just got me shocked because usually he would get even straight away.

"But you know what?" Reed continued. "It is Christmas after all so I would love to spread the love out." He stood up with his arms wide open coming towards me. Now that's the Reed I remember. I slowly stepped back with each step he took forward.

I looked at the water dripping down his abs and that's when I ran for my life. I'm fine being dry and warm so no thank you Reed I would not like to hug you.

I heard him run after me screaming that he will catch me sooner or later.

I ran into my room and closed the door but I forgot the fact that Alex's bathroom leads to my room. As I started to walk towards the bathroom door it slung open and because I was so close to it her wrapped his arms around me and the cold took over.

I bet it must have been horrible to have a whole bucket of ice cold water spilled on you. Oh well it was fun.

After everyone got ready we all went downstairs and sat around the huge Christmas tree. I looked at my phone and it was 7:20 already.

" I suggest we give the girls their gifts first?" Reed asked the boys.

"Wow! First time I ever hear you say something that makes sense." I joke and everyone laughs.

Well the boys gave us the presents they bought us first and turned out they knew me really well. Noah and Reed got me my favourite perfumes. Diesel and the angel perfume that has a bottle shaped like a star. Yeah that perfume smells like heaven to me.

It was Alex's turn to give me my present and he had to exit the room to go and get it. I was actually a little nervous. Last night was the best night I've ever had and I am so happy that he didn't say anything about it.

He came back into the room carrying a cage that had a sheet covering it. He placed the cage infront of me and I just stared at it.

"Well, come on, take the sheet off" he said excitedly. I slowly reached out and pulled the sheet of to see a freaking monkey and to make it all better it looked like the monkey from The Pirates Of The Caribbean. One of my favourite movies. I've always wanted a monkey like that and I just can't believe that Alex got me a freaking monkey.

I placed my hands over my mouth in shock and tears fell down my cheeks. I quickly opened the cage door and the monkey slowly came out. Everyone was incredibly silent as the monkey climbed on my lap.

The girls were speechless and so was I, I mean what is the sensible way to react when someone gives you a monkey.

"How were you able to get a monkey?" Apparently that was the only question that could come out of my mouth.

"I have some connections. So do you like him?" Alex asked.

"I love him. I can't believe you got me a monkey." I said still very surprised.

"You can name him."

"I'm naming him Jack because the monkey in the movie was named Jack and he looks just like him. Oh My God I've always wanted that monkey or at least a monkey that looked like the one from the movie"

"Well this is a very well trained monkey. It's usually a monkey that they use in movies so I bought him for you." Alex explained.

"When did you get him?" I asked while softly rubbing the top of Jack's head as if giving him a massage.

"Yesterday"

"Thank you so much. I really had no idea that you would get me a monkey. I don't think that anyone would think that they would get a monkey for Christmas."

"Okay now let's see what you girls bought us" Noah said while looking at the monkey.

Before I could get up Jack climbed on my shoulder and I then got up to give the boys their presents. They were really pleased with what they got especially Alex. He's been wanting that watch for ages but nothing beats his present.

After that me and the girls exchanged presents and so did the boys. Davina loved her dress and the heals and well the whole outfit and Tash loved hers as for Sam she freaked out when she saw the camera.

After we all had our gifts opened we went to have breakfast. Jack was still on my shoulder so when we entered the kitchen he jumped on the island and took a banana from the wooden bowl. I laughed at him and went to help the other with preparing the breakfast.

This Christmas went in a completely different way. It went very unexpected. I love it ..
