"Angel, I know you are in there. Open the door!" Mia yelled, probably annoying many people down the hall. When we got here, she then told me there was elevator, out of order. You can imagine how many times she dropped me.
Ah, it's okay. I don't mind her, she is still gentle when needed. Now, I sit here beside the door, watching her. She looked at me for a moment, then sighed, placing her hands on her hips. The door knob rattled, proving that someone was there.
"So, who is this?" A tall dusty brown haired man questioned. "This is Rane could you move him to the couch." Mia sighed. I stood up and walked to the side of her. "Or he can walk. Whatever way works for me." She whispered, walking inside.
I stood there confused. So walk in? Carried in? I didn't stand there for long. Angel made the choice quickly. "Well, come inside." He gave me a shove to get me moving. I stumbled, the shove was a little rough.
"Oh forget it. You aren't going to get anywhere." He sighed and put his arms under me, lifting me up. It kinda hurt but, not as bad as it would seem. He wasn't straining with my weight. Okay, I'm not fat. I'm really small for my age. Okay? Okay.
"By the way, he's going to need something to drink. He's coughing pretty bad. But, he won't open his mouth." Mia barked, watching us. I glared at her, wanting to spit on her.
"Well, get me a glass of water and a straw. Maybe we can get something inside of him like that." I was set down on the couch, a cold hand pressed to forehead. "He pretty warm too. How long has he been like this?"
"Over few hours. When Rane moves his face shows pain. So something is hurting him." Mia sighed leave to get the glass of water. "Okay, then, Rane, let's get you to lie down alright?" Angel's hands grabbed my shoulders, I began to fight.
I am not trust some man I just met. Hell no. I jerked my shoulders away from him, locking eyes with him. A pair of deep brown orbs. I looked away, pushing him back with one of my feet. Angel didn't move, he only grabbed me again.
I was being pinned to the couch. Underneath a guy his size was kinda frightening. I tried to yell, forgetting the thread keeping my lips closed. Pain shot across my face.
Blood began to trickle down my lips. Angel held me down tighter, tracing my lips with his finger. I turned my head away. "Mia, he's bleeding." He whispered. She walked back in and froze.
"Angel, I know you like men, but for once, could you be nice to him?" She sighed. He's gay. Great. "Sorry. He wouldn't lie down." Angel got off of me, and turned to Mia, she chuckled. I began to sit back up only to pushed back down.
"Let him sit up so he can get a sip of water Angel." She said, grabbing his arm. Then, Mia pulled me up handing me the glass. It was cold. I peered into it and sighed through my nose. Water it was, ice cold too.
I saw the straw in Mia's hand, reaching for it. She was kind enough to set it in the glass before I could grab it. She looked at me, then shrugged. "It happens a lot Angel." she nudged his arm. Angel nodded softly.
I was able to slip the straw through my lips and the relief it was to have liquid down your throat! It tasted like the heavens dew. It was something I needed for a long while. I began to grin some here and there.
As it became later in the day, the more tired I became. And before I knew it, I was asleep on the couch...
