I sat in the same alley way that I've been hiding in. Away from Mia for a while. I guess that was a good thing. I said it again though. "I don't need your help." Spat out those words. Then, like always, I ran away. Like a coward. well, at least this time the pain isn't too bad.

The curse had closed my mouth shut once again. I was still dizzy from the dull, golden needle's torment. "Rane, I found you again! Stop running from me." My friend named Mia smiled. I shook my head, extending an arm to keep her away. I was scared, scared of hurting her. Losing her. Frightening her.

Mia began to dig into her bag, pulling out random objects. I watched her carefully, using caution and occasionally glance over her shoulder. Then, she turns back to me, a pen and notebook in her hand.

Write it out Rane. Tell her your problems. Tell her what's wrong with you. Tell her your pain... No. It would be a failure. This pain is nothing compared to some people. "Rane, please speak to me." She whispered.

I shook my head again, pushing the notebook away. "Then," she gripped my wrist tightly,"You can come to my apartment." She promptly yanked me off the ground, forcing me to follow her.

A strong way of dizziness cause me to stumble. Getting up to fast was always an issue. Mia wrapped one of my arms around her neck. One of her's snaked around my back. "Then, you can meet my older brother. He's my twin, but he's a lot more calmer than I am. He's fun and nice and his name is Angel."

I sighed through my nose. Does this girl even shut up? Joking, honestly I was. I knew her a long time before. She is never quiet. She's often trying to get me to do stuff. "You know, I might have some extra room for you, Rane."

I shrugged, then sighed again. "Maybe some extra clothing and maybe Angel will enjoy your company." Mia giggled like a school girl. Wait, what did she mean enjoy? I shot my eyes downward, thinking. Is he one of those people that hate everyone?

"I was joking on that last part. He's the nicest person you will ever meet." She chuckled. We had finally reached the end of the alley way, looking onto the street before us. Then, Mia turned left, tugging me along beside her.

"Did I fail to mention it's a few blocks down the road?"...
