Hungover dreams, aka the worst dreams ever known to man, or Cassie at least.

The last time Cassie was hungover, she had a lucid dream of watching Blake drown and then being so sad that she drowned herself out of sadness. She remembers feeling like choking and almost cried when Blake took too long to pick up the phone when she called him afterwards.

Although this time, she's having a lucid dream of trying not to throw her guts out. Wait, it wasn't a dream. It was reality, and it fucking sucked.

"My Mum said hot ginger and lemon helps with nausea," Blake walks into Cassie's room, two mugs in his hands and a pack of digestives under his arm.

"The tea and digestives are for me, but you can have some if you think you'd be able to keep them down," Blake explains, handing Cassie her cup of ginger and lemon.

"Thank you," Cassie sniffs, throat sore from throwing up and nose stuffy due to her body involuntarily crying everything she brought something back up.

"I've only ever seen you like this one time before," Blake speaks, walking around to the other side of Cassie's bed and sitting down.

"When?" Cassie asks, taking a moment to inhale the relaxing steam from the tasteful contents of the mug in her hands.

"When you tried to go on the pill so your period didn't hurt as bad," Blake speaks, opening the packet of digestive biscuits, "that was birth control, wasn't it?"

"Yes," Cassie confirms, taking a sip of her hot drink and savouring the addicting burn as it seeped down her throat.

"You're dumb if you think I don't know what's going on," Blake speaks calmly, dipping a biscuit into his tea.

"Fine," Cassie caves, "I took planB because I hooked up with someone at the party last night, but I can't remember if we were safe."

"See, I didn't know what's going on, but now I do," Blake thinks for a second about what Cassie had just said, whilst Cassie mentally chokes Blake for being such a smart ass.

"Cassie, I'm not happy that you had sex with someone whilst you were drunk, but I'm glad you remember it to be consensual and was safe," Blake speaks, finger in the air to keep Cassie silent as he thinks of if he has anything else to say, "but I'm upset you didn't tell me earlier."

"I didn't tell you because I didn't want to upset you. I'm embarrassed that I even had to take it in the first place," Cassie frowns, sadly sipping her drink.

"Embarrassment vomit is better than an unwanted child," Blake speaks definitely, offering Cassie a digestive.

"I love you, I'm sorry," Cassie apologises, taking a biscuit as she rests her head on Blake's shoulder.

"It's sad to even think that a man would have sex with a drunk woman in the first place," Blake speaks sadly, "I would never. You can't give clear minded consent if you're drunk."

"For some guys, a drunk girl saying yes is good enough," Cassie explains, Blake sighing at the thought.

"And the fact that you would even have to worry about if they used a condom or not."

"We get it, Blake. Guys are the worst."

"Amen to that!" Blake holds his tea in the air, Cassie raising her lemon and ginger to clink to the toast.

"I'll have to remember to tell Reece to warn his sister on how much men suck," Blake speaks.

"Mm, you sure will," Cassie awkwardly laughs. She couldn't really talk. She wasn't any better.
