I was re-watching Steven Universe when I came up on the episode called 'when it rains' or somthing like that, and I realised somthing.
When Steven says 'you've cracked..' Peridot replies with 'I haven't' with a quick angered tone with it.
What if she thought Steven was saying that her gem was cracked,not that she have cracked by telling them about the cluster.
This is bad,if you consider that she helped/watched gems be cracked or even worse,shattered.
If you take all this in,you get a gem who think Steven, somone who literly just taught her about the frecking rain, just said that she is cracked,somthing that she knew can't be healed by anything but Steven's spit, which she was told doesn't work most of the time!
