Yes, I know every RP has a huge set of rules. But this ones short.
1. No God play. That includes, "She opened her arms and her mom appeared. Knives fell from the sky and killed everyone but her pet fish named Superfly." NONE OF THAT.
2. No, Center-Of-Attention thing. Like, "She fell off a cliff and broke her leg, and everybody was around."
3. Be descriptive, don't say, "He was tired because he just got back from work." Say, "He sat down, exhausted. He'd just gotten back from his job at Big Cheese Pizza, and was tired from working his usual 12 hour shift."
