chapter 2

remus groggily felt for his phone to shut of his phone alarm. rubbing his bleary eyes, he could finally see where his phone was and shut the annoying alarm off. typical of him to forget to turn his alarm off. after stretching, remus sat on the edge of his bed, still half-asleep. after a few moments of sitting and trying to get fully awake, remus walked down the stairs (being careful not to trip), and into the kitchen. there, sitting on the couch, was sirius black, messy (but it still looked good???) hair and eating cereal while on his phone.

"uhh... hey?" remus asked sirius, letting him know that he was in his presence while also wanting to ask for food.

"oh uh... good morning," sirius replied nonchalantly, glancing at remus in his pajamas.

"can i uhh.. eat a- is there anything to eat- that i can eat?" remus asked with obvious stuttering. after all, he had just moved in, and it would be kinda rude to just open the cabinet and grab some cereal.

"oh, theres some cheerios in the cupboard up there," sirius stated. "theres some frozen waffles that are probably expired in the fridge, and the milk is in the fridge too." he added.

"oh, thanks," remus giggled.

remus giggled.

it wasn't a very "remus" thing to giggle but he looked past that and did what he was meant to do, which was get breakfast, and completely forget the situation that had just occured. he glanced at sirius, who was back to scrolling on instagram while eating his cereal, and he looked unfazed by what remus thought was a "big deal".

soon after, the remaining residents of the house began to get out of bed and go down to the living room.

"mornin' lads!" james chirped, obviously happy about something.

"what happened? who did you find?" sirius asked, already knowing what it was about.

"i was lying in bed, doing my morning instagram scroll, and i saw this pretty girl. long story short, i started stalking her and im thinking of sliding into her dm's." james recounted, while making a cup of tea with milk. "i'll show you later." he vowed.
