Why did she do that? What if somebody finds out? The bell rings pulling me from my dangerous thoughts. I grab my books and head down the hallway, until Hope calls my name from down the hall, great the person I didn't want to see. "Hey, did you hear what Michael did today in Mr. Reds class?" Does she not remember what happened? "Yeah I heard about it." "That was so crazy almost like we are back in grade 3." I grab her arm tightly and walk her around the corner into a empty hallway. "What are you doing, ouch that hurts let go of me." She pulls her arm my grip before I can mange to say "What the hell Hope, do you not remember what happened?" Hope looks down at her bracelet and picks at it "I don't know what your talking about." What the hell? She should remember? "Yes you do, now own up to it and stop acting like nothing happened." Hope suddenly looks back up at me with her glaring gaze. "I do remember what happened and we need to act like everything is okay so we don't get in trouble." I look at the a poster with big red letters that spell out 'MISSING'. "Hope, look" We walk over to the poster and I read out loud "17 year old Brooke Dunn went missing on April 13th." "She was last seen at her house by her mother Donna Dunn. If you see her please contact the police." I look over at the orange faded lockers that haven't been used in ages. The orange paint is chipping off as well, I just want to go over and pick it off myself. "What have we done, what are we going to do?" I look back at Hope "Hope, i'm sorry but your not bringing me down with you. You killed her not me."
