Unforgettable // Tre Jones

Countdown

Today is Countdown to Craziness and I can't wait! All of the guys are so nice and I can see that they all love playing basketball. Tre, Alex, Marques, Joey, Jack, and Javin are supposed to be stopping by here before the game to hangout and it seems like we've been friends for years. As if on que there's a knock on the door and I go open the door to see the boys and they all give me a hug only Tre's hug was a little longer than the rest of them and one of the boys let's out a whistle.

"Are you guys excited for tonight!" I ask them as we all sit in my living room.

"I am!" Tre and Joey say at the same time and look at each other.

"Are you coming to the game, Em?" Tre asks.

"Yea, I'll be there. I think I'm in the front row." I say and get up to try and find my ticket that Uncle Mike gave me a couple days ago. "I am in the front, I think I'm right at half court."

"That's awesome! You probably have the best seat in Cameron!" Javin says with a smile.

We just chill in my living room and talk for at least an hour, we talked about everything from basketball to our personal lives, and I learned a lot about Tre and Joey. Then the boys had to leave to get ready for the game that starts in about two hours, I give them all hugs and Tre whispers "I can't wait to see your beautiful face during countdown" and I blush like crazy and say bye to the boys.

After the boys leave, I head back to the couch and watch some Supernatural for maybe a half hour and then I head to get ready for the game. I turn on Spotify and the first song that comes on is God's Plan by Drake and I jam to it while getting my clothes out. I end up settling for a Duke T-shirt, ripped jeans, and Nike Roshe Ones. After I get dressed, I head to the bathroom to put on deodorant, perfume, and to put some makeup on. I only end up putting concealer, powder, bronzer, mascara, eyebrows, and highlight on, and I have to say I look pretty good. I grab my phone, keys, and my wallet and head out to my car. Once I get in my car, I give Uncle Mike a call to let him know that I'm on my way and I ask him to tell the boys that I say good luck.

When I get to Cameron, there is barley any place to park but I found one that unfortunately is kind of far from Cameron. Not gonna lie, I forgot how crazy it is when it comes to games in Cameron. I head into Cameron and get my ticket scanned and head to my seat and see the boys in a huddle before going to put up some shots. The boys noticed that I was here and some of them waved to me and Marques and Alex come over and talk to me.

"Having fun watching us shoot?" Alex askes as him and Marques come over to me and I get up and give them both hugs.

"Oh yea, it's so much fun!" I say and I wonder if they could feel my sarcasm.

"Do you want us to send Tre over? Cause he keeps looking over here." Marques says and turns and points to Tre who is talking to Cam.

"No, but you guys should probably get back to shooting before Uncle Mike finds out. Good luck!" I say and give them both hugs and send them back to the court.

During the player introductions, all the guys were jamming as Joey and R.J. went. When they introduced Tre, I started clapping and laughed when he started dancing along to Gods Plan by Drake, after his bit is over he comes forward to where I am and winks at me and runs down the court high fiving people and I'm just sitting there dumbfounded. I was jamming to the song that Cam picked too, and he does some Fortnite dance and runs down the court high fiving people. The intros were amazing and the boys genuinely looked like they were having fun. Then the game started, the white team consisted of Tre, Zion, Joey, Alex, Javin, and Antonio, and the blue team consisted of Cam, R.J., Marques, Jordan, Justin, and Jack. White was hot in the beginning and pulled a lead and they were able to keep it and win the game 44-39. The blue team played really hard and so did the white team, it was quite interesting. After the game, I head over to where Uncle Mike, Scheyer, and Nolan are and we talk for a little bit till Uncle Mike tells me something.

"Tre wanted me to ask you if you would meet him outside the locker room." Uncle Mike says with a smile on his face. Nolan and Scheyer let out whistles.

"Yea, I'll head over now. Thanks Uncle Mike. Bye Nolan, Bye Scheyer" I say and wave to them and head to where the locker rooms are. When I get to where the locker rooms are, Cam comes out.

"Are you waiting for someone?" Cam asks with a smile on his face.

"Yea, Uncle Mike told me that Tre asked if I could meet him out here. So here I am." I say with an awkward smile.

"Do you want me to tell him that your here?" Cam asks and points to the locker room.

"No, that's alright. I can wait, it's no problem but thank you." I say with a smile and give him a hug. "Good game, by the way."

"Thank you, Em" Cam says with a smile and leaves. I wasn't outside the locker room very long, maybe five minutes till Tre came out.

"Hey Em!" Tre says when he sees me and gives me a hug.

"Hey T! You played amazing!" I say with a smile.

"Thank you, Em!" Tre says and he gets this nervous look on his face.

"Is everything ok, T?" I ask and gently grab his arm.

"Yea, I was just wondering if you wanted to get dinner with me one night?" Tre asks nervously while playing with his hands.

"I would love to get dinner with you one night." I say and put my hand on his arm and smile at me. As soon as I finish my sentence, his face lights up. Tre picks me up and spins me around while saying thank you repeatedly.

"Alright kids, time for you guys to head out and Tre don't forget that we have practice in the morning." Uncle Mike says coming out of nowhere and scaring the crap out of Tre and I.

"I'll next you later, Em. Bye" Tre says and kisses my cheek and tells Uncle Mike 'goodbye' and leaves.

"Bye T" I say kind of shocked. I say good night to Uncle Mike and head to my car with the biggest smile on my face. As soon as I get in my car, I start giggling and I head home. When I get home, I text Uncle Mike and Tre and tell that I'm home. I talked to Tre for a little bit, then I took my makeup off and put on a t-shirt and shorts and went to bed with the biggest smile on my face because of one person....
