You slowly come to consciousness with a familiar weight glued to your waist. You hear a muffled "morning love" from the head buried in your neck and reply with a similarly tired "morning babe".
Y/N's POV
I've grown accustomed to waking up with sara's warm presence and I couldn't think of anything better. However, I was brought out of my thoughts with sara crawling further up the bed to meet me face to face, smiling lovingly in my direction. Sara chuckled lightly "whatcha thinking about cutie?"
"just the love of my life" I replied smoothly.
Sara melted into my embrace "awww".
"she's great, you should meet her sometime" I smirked knowingly waiting for Sara's reaction. Before I could say anything else she hastily rolled on top of me with a pouty "hey that's mean".
I quickly made up for it by pulling her down gently into a soft kiss "what do you want to do today? I heard Rip say the team had a few days off before our next mission"
Sara looked relieved, putting her head on my chest and replying "i'm really tired, can we just stay here?".
I carefully pushed some stray hair from Sara's face happy with her answer "sooo... lazy day?"
"lazy day." Sara confirmed while I smiled happily knowing today would be perfect.
Sara tangled her legs with mine while I drew delicate patterns on her lower back occasionally earning a small chuckle from the tickling touch. Yes, today will be perfect.
