Josh's POV:
~flashback~
I lay on the ground holding the right side of my cheek. I can feel the stinging and the blood rushing to my face. My father. He abused me. Every night and day he would slap, punch, kick, whip me for something that I did not do. I had a brother he was 10 when he died and 10 when my parents got divorced. My mother got drunk and left. And I was only 9. My father blames me for killing my brother, I didn't, he was my bestfriend. But my father did. One day my mom came back to apologize and be a family again, but when she realized that her first son died she abused my father and he killed himself. So me and my mother moved here to California to start fresh. But those nights will always haunt me in my dreams. I have scars from those days. And now I'm sure I have more from the things people judge and say about me. I thought everything would be better once I met Ashton but I was wrong.
~end of flashback~
Ashton's POV:
I can't believe Josh would do that, after he left school I helped get Luke into an ambulance. Hopefully he is okay.
I get into the back of the ambulance with Clair and the paramedics.
As we drive to the hospital I see some more ambulances and cop cars on one of the intersections. I look out the window to see an F150 and a motorcycle. A car accident.
Whoever was in it, wasn't having a good day.
The ambulance in the intersection follows right behind ours and soon we get to the hospital, they take out Luke and take him into the hospital.
Me and Clair get out and the paramedics said that we couldn't stay with him until an hour. They left and we stayed outside and they take out someone, that I can't quite see, out of the other ambulance.
But once they roll him by I recognize who it is and so does Clair.
Without thinking I yell "JOSH!" and run towards him.
Clair comes after me and holds me back as tears stream down my face "JOSH, NO!!".
What have I done. Its all my fault.
