A/N: It's time for more shit writing by yours truly. *waits for the rotten tomatoes to be thrown*

This took sooooooooooooo long for it to be as bad as it is. But I promise I tried my best. I have a lot of good ideas for this in the later chapters but the trick is getting to those chapters. But hopefully this won't make you go blind from how poorly written it is.

Anyway, I hope you have been able to enjoy the story so far! It means a lot to me!

Ray.

Where is she?

I felt panic surge through my body. I don't know why I was already so attached to her already; maybe I felt responsible since I was an adult and saw it as my job to look after and protect her. So seeing her bedroom devoid of both her and the small puppy she had tightly held onto was more than a bit anxiety inducing for me. It felt like I was having a panic attack.

When I finally could move my feet, I darted down the hallway back towards the living room area. I called out Zack's name, not knowing what else to do and not bothering to try and hide my fear for Ray.

"Zack! Zack!"

"What the hell is it now?" he grumbled as I came to a stop in front of him. I watched as he sat up, his different color eyes taking in my worried expression as I stammered words out to him.

"R-Ray! S-S-She's...she's gone! I can't find her or the puppy. And her room's been torn apart!"

He didn't react to my words at all. Not even a freaking flinch. "She could just be out for a walk, (N/N). It's still early and she likes to wander around town....for some fucking reason."

I shook my head quickly, dismissing his words. "Her room has been torn apart like someone else was in there, Zack! There's stuff knocked off her dressers and everything!"

He sighed, finally standing to his feet. Guess he thought he'd 'humor' me. But I knew in my gut something was wrong. Impatiently, I grabbed one of Zack's arms and dragged him with to the doorway of Ray's bedroom.

"Look! See? Her room has been torn apart!" I yelled.

"Yeah, it's pretty damn messy, but she's not the neatest kid in the world either." he replied, not convinced.

"I really doubt she knocked all this stuff off the dressers on purpose, Zack." I snapped. I quickly brushed past him, deciding to head outside and look, just in case he was right and she had just gone for a walk. Though I wasn't going to admit that to him.

On my way out of room however, my eyes landed on something black in the floor. I quickly snatched it and held it up to get a closer look. When I realized what it was, I felt dread as I turned toward Zack. "Her...her bag's here too..."

That seemed to catch his undivided attention with a touch of concern. "She doesn't go anywhere with out that 'cept to bed...shit."

He at least knew her well enough to have picked up that detail and was finally understanding why I was so worried. I literally only knew her two days at best, and I noticed how she kept this bag close. Granted, this doesn't mean necessarily that she was kidnapped I guess. But the state of her room, only added to that possibility.

Zack's eyes furrowed in frustration as he looked from the bag to my own troubled face. "Well, what do we do? Go out and look for her again...?"

"I don't know...if someone really kidnapped her, that wouldn't do any good..."

This whole situation was screaming a kidnapping. But who would kidnap Ray? And who could I even go to about it for help? Zack and Ray were avoiding the police, and it looks like I'm in a similar boat. There's not too much we can do except look for her on our own. But...where to start? Better yet....
