*flashback to 3 years ago*

seungmin was depressed. it was as if nothing made him happy anymore. the doctors tried to help, but nothing worked.

today, seungmin wanted to end it all. he looked at the clock. at 11:11 am, he decided to jump off from the rooftop.

27 minutes until it's all over. i'll be free...

seungmin kept staring at the clock, hoping that it would speed up.

when 11:11 hit, seungmin raised his hand.

"can i go to the bathroom?" the boy asked with a shaky voice.

the teacher nodded, "come back quickly."

"alright.." seungmin stood up and made his way to the rooftop.

but what he didn't know was that someone was following him.

seungmin didn't know much about the boy. they never talked or made any sort of contact. the two only bumped into each other twice on accident.

seungmin sat for a little bit, looking down at the ground.

the boy let out a huff before getting up and walking to the edge.

he smiled lightly, "my life is pretty shitty.. maybe people would be happier if i wasn't around."

and with that, seungmin began to lean forward.

"don't do it!" seungmin felt arms around his waist pulling him back from the ledge. "it's not worth it!"

seungmin bursted into tears. he let the stranger hug him. he collapsed onto the floor, letting the tears spill out of his eyes. the stranger knelt down in front of seungmin, pulling him into a hug.

"it's not worth it.."

seungmin hugged him back tightly. it felt nice to hug someone. he hadn't felt this warm before. it was new to him.

the boy pulled away, "i'm jeongin. what's your name?"

the older sniffed, "s-seungmin.."

jeongin smiled at the boy and wiped his tears away with his thumb, "let's be friends, seungmin."

seungmin smiled softly before nodding, "okay."
