seungmin eyes fluttered open. his eyes went straight to jeongin who was resting his head on the hospital bed.
"jeongin~" the older shook him gently.
the younger groaned as he sat up slowly, "hi." he said with a smile.
"are you okay?" seungmin asked as he noticed jeongin struggling to sit up.
"i'm fine. my back just hurts," he answered as he finally got up.
"you could've laid with me." seungmin said with a little pout.
jeongin saw it and chuckled while caressing his cheek, "you looked so comfortable by yourself. i didn't wanna wake you up."
"i would've cuddled with you.." seungmin's trailed off and his cheeks turned pink.
jeongin smiled and sat next to seungmin, intertwining their hands and resting his head on the older's shoulder. "better?"
seungmin just nodded, his cheeks pinker than before. jeongin put their intertwined hands in seungmin's lap and kissed his cheek.
"jeongin," seungmin called out.
"hm?" jeongin hummed in response.
"am i annoying? i feel like you're just forcing yourself to like me. you always seemed so annoyed with me before, so how can i know if you're just pretending to love me?" seungmin asked. it broke jeongin's heart to think that he thought about their relationship that way.
"seungie.." jeongin lifted his head from seungmin's shoulder so that he could look into his eyes. the older was close to tears. jeongin frowned a little and put his hand on his neck, pulling him into a kiss.
seungmin pulled away, "jeongin.. answer me,"
"don't think that way, love. i really like you. why would you think that?" jeongin's eyes soften when the two made eye contact.
"it seems like i'm not your type.." seungmin mumbled but jeongin still heard him.
jeongin pulled him into a hug and stroked his hair. after a minute or so, jeongin started to hear quiet snores from the older. he moved the boy so that he was laying back down again.
jeongin held onto his hand and caressed his cheek. "you, kim seungmin, are my type."
he placed a soft kiss on his lips before lying down next to him, wrapping his arms around his waist.
