*Faux's POV*

"Three men slaughtered at an apartment in Manhattan. The killer is said to be a friend of the victims. The reason behind the killing and the location of the killer is still unknown. More about this news later on. A new world reco-"

*TV turns off*

"Well it wasn't my fault. They wen't over the line." I murmured as I rip open a bag of potato chips. "Plus, this isn't the first time I slaughtered people." I could remember the days when they used to called me False.

Money for a head. That's how I managed to eat three times a day and pay for my rents. Until the raid where Pike died. Pike was my best pal. He was always with me. He's got my back. Until they killed him. He was terrified when the cops broke in. He ran towards me, threatened to attack the cops if they got closer. One off the cops got a little bit too close so he pounced at him and right at the moment when Pike was on top of the cop, he was shot dead. He only wanted to protect me. He was only 7 months old. Still a pup. I was so enraged at the time, I grabbed the downed officer's shotgun and blasted them one by one and when I was sure all of them were dead, I took Pike and ran. Blood was dripping from his side where he was shot. I could see there wasn't a chance for him to survive at all. He was already limp; lifeless. A 30 minute trip from the apartment was the forest, where I buried Pike. I'll never forgive them from what they did.

Remembering the events made my blood boil and I, unintentionally, crushed the the contents of the bag of potato chips.

A few moments later somebody knocked at my door. I grabbed my suppressed Gloc from under the table and cocked it quietly. I took a look through the peephole.

I then opened the door, it was my old friend Rogue, which was a serial killer as well. I popped my head out the door and took a look around and checked if the coast was clear then I came back inside. "You got news?" I asked as I sat back on the couch and placed the Gloc back to it's position. Rogue sat on a chair adjacent to me.

"All I can say right now is they doubled the patrols. All of the exits are critical. We'll have to time it perfectly before escaping the city." Rogue said while he was unfolding a map of the city on the small coffee table I owned. "The north road is heavily guarded and so is the bridge in the west. The southern main road has a bunch of checkpoints, we can't pass through by vehicle nor by foot. But, I do have a friend who lives near the forest in the west. The roads were heavily guarded as well and the forest itself had patrols. The forest is the safest option but we have to time it perfectly." Rogue discussed. This is probably one of the hardest escape plan I've ever had. But, I have to get out of the city in a week. I don't have a choice. "Okay then. You got the guns?" I asked him and he smirked at me. "What do you want?" He said and stood up. "C'mon, follow me." Rogue turned around and proceeded to the door. "Wait! I can't be seen." I reminded him. "Don't worry I got it covered." He assured me.

We proceeded to his house 15 minutes away from my hideout. We picked out the guns and I chose my personal favorite. The modified AR-15 and also I brought my modified Gloc along with a bunch of ammo ranging from hollow points to armor piercing and loaded them in my bag.

"We'll leave first thing in the morning. That's when most of the guards are near the roads and not in the jungle." Rogue informed me and handed me a Ghillie suit. "Desperate times, desperate measures." I told him.

"False is back."
