You burst in through the classroom doors, out of breath.
"I'm so sorry I'm late teacher-nim!" You pant in a harsh ninety degree bow towards his desk. Everyone stares at you coldly, like a room tiled with snakes.

"It's fine y/n, please take a seat." He replies nonchalantly, not sparing a second to glance at you as he continues to explain the lesson's work.

'Twenty minutes late to lesson and this is all he has to say? I must be really lucky today.' You remind yourself as your eyebrows jump into your hairline.
Usually, anyone even a moment late to his class will win themselves an hour of after-school detention but, this time, nothing.
You make your way to your seat and internally explode.
Him.
Taehyung is sleeping in your clearly reserved seat.
You stride up to him silently with clenched fists and tap his shoulder hard enough to wake him up.
"Hm?" He stares up at you, eyes barely open.
"This is my seat."
"Oh. Strange."
He yawns slowly and turns his head the other way, going back to sleep.
Your eye twitches at his nerve for not listening to you at all.
"Y/n," you hear the teacher say impatiently, "please sit down."
You mentally growl.
'I'll get my rightful seat next time.'
You take up the empty seat behind your original one, open your notebook, and burn holes into the back of his head.

*buzz*

You look down at your phone under the table quickly before the teacher can see anything.

'He has a point.'
You decide to brush it off and actually do your work for what's left of the lesson, leaving Taehyung to sleep in peace.

Half an hour later you find yourself grinning widely to yourself like the idiot you apparently make yourself out to be.
'The weekend is finally here!'
You're screaming on the inside happily. Just a few moments and you'll be free...

"Oh, class. I almost forgot your homework."

'What!?' Your face burns red in anger. 'I swear to god, when I'm old enough to file a law suit, he'll be sorry.' You inhale deeply after a moments thought. 'Don't stress y/n. You'll just get it done quickly and then continue enjoying your couple days off from school, alone.' Your tension lifts a bit from the imaginary reassurance.

"It's a group assignment." He blurts out, cheerfully listening to everyone's groans of dismay while you hold your breath to stop yourself from saying something that might get you into trouble.

"You'll work in groups of three," he continues sadisticly, "and if it isn't finished and handed in on Monday, you know what happens."

'Gosh, he sure loves making people suffer.' You roll your eyes and pout sadly. 'My poor weekend is about to be wasted with two people.' Your nose wrinkles in disgust, it being the only insult you can conjure from behind your annoyance.

Knowing it will have to be Jimin and Taehyung that you're working with, you ask your friend if he has the new boy's number only to frown when given a 'No, ask.' In return.
You muster up the courage to stand up and lean over your table carefully to tap Taehyung again before the teacher dismisses everyone to leave and he suddenly jumps up, wide awake.
'What the heck. Was he even sleeping?'
He grabs his bag quickly and runs out the room, ready to go home and clearly not registering the fact that he had to complete a group project.
Jimin gives you a determined look which speaks to you saying "Go on, get his number already." making you rush out behind the boy, regretting every life choice having led up to it.
