You've been following Taehyung for about fifteen minutes now; He doesn't seem like the approachable type to you and plus, admiring the scenery on this route is much more fun.
The majority of the way has been like a dream as you recollect the calm, swan-filled lake which you passed in awe and the cute cafe that you swore to revisit when you didn't have a task to do.
You remind yourself heartily not to miss out on the current view and so you snap back into your real one.
'How can one path look so beautiful?' you ponder.
The walk is quiet aside from the occasional evanescent vehicle and steady breeze playfully hitting everything it can reach.
The edges of the pale bricked pavement are outlined with cherry blossom trees that sway slightly as a result of the current. You can't help but want to come back when they're in full blossom. As a slightly stronger gust of air rushes into you, you flinch and clasp your hands together before brushing your hair back behind your ear when it leaves.
A bright chirp forces you to look up and smile as there's a bird's nest on one of the trees' branches; even though it's something natural, everything looks magnified in beauty to you. Their blue wings abduct from their bodies as they fly swiftly to some other place, probably equally as magnificent - you watch them go.
That's when you see Taehyung.

Your face drops. 'How long has he been staring?'
His expression is unreadable. Another draft of wind hits you and you aren't sure which part of the scenario is sending shivers all along your body - you can't move.
He suddenly breaks the frame and starts walking towards you slowly. You wish with every brain cell to run away but your muscles don't cooperate. 'Is it a good time for crazy ideas?'
You hope he doesn't see you there, gawking and wishing to reverse his realisation of you until you hear him call your name, "Y/n, what're you doing here? Do you walk this way too?"
'You are not a stalker, you are not a stalker.' Or at least he doesn't need to know that.
"Yeah!" you smile awkwardly and refrain from saying anything else.
"Oh, that's cool, do you wanna walk together?" his lips slant upwards as colour is brought to his cheeks. Even to Taehyung, how can you refuse a face like that?
"Sure."

The two of you walk in silence for a while. Thinking about it, your house is in the complete opposite direction. You decide to get your question over and done with then break away from him as soon as you can.
"Uhm, by the way," you begin yet regret immediately, remembering that there's been no conversation between you both in the first place, "Th-there's a group project that we have to do for class. I'm not sure if you were listening or-"
He hums. You aren't really sure what it's supposed to mean so you just carry on.
"If you don't already have a group, would you want to team with Jimin and I?"
You get nervous when he doesn't reply. 'Did I do something wrong?'
"He-hello?" you wave a palm in front of his concentrated face.
"Oh. Huh?"
'Was he even listening?' You frown.
"Project. Group with us." you summarise, not bothered to repeat it all again.
"Sure." he replies bluntly and continues zoning out.
"Okay bye! My house is this way!" you interrupt him and point to a random drive.
"Want me to walk-"
"Nope!" you run off in its direction.
Interacting with Taehyung is so draining. You promise to never even try and figure out what goes on in his head - you'd definitely die trying.
You take out your phone and open up the maps application, hoping that you can get to your safe-house before dusk. You sigh when you read '50 minute walk' from your screen, put it away, and begin walking alone.
