Activites fair

In the spirit of new beginnings as now wanting to be locked away in my room all year I deiced to go to the activities fair. So I through on my white sun flower dress that accented my long dark hair perfectly and I headed out

I wasn't really sure what i was in store for but i figured id take a chance for once.

I walked out to where all the booths were set up and i glanced at each one as i passed but nothing caught my eye. I had considered joining the Korean students group but i was only half so i didn't think id fit in so well. After about 30 minutes of completely unoriginal sororities and clubs telling me how much fun id have in there group ect. ect. I figured i should just cut my losses and go back to my room. But that when i heard them, perfectly in tuned boys singing on of my favorite songs from 1980's Motown let it wip.  It was one of the best performances id heard in along time but when they finished i saw two guys go up and talk to them. Almost as quickly as the got there they were turned down and one looked heart broken.

I can not go by them what it i humiliate myself like that kid. I decided to put my head down and walk as fast as i could back to my room to avoid them but it wasn't good enough. just as i got past most of them one stopped me. There leader.

"Hey baby I don't think we've been introduced I'm Bumper but you can call me the man of your dreams."

He smiled arrogantly and tried to grab at my arm. I had no choice I picked my head up and tired to face him, fully ready to defend myself against him when i was stopped.

"Hey Bumper this is the girl from the hall I was telling you guys about." Donald came down the steps to meet us and it became clear when he stood next to him just how short this bumper guy was. I almost laughed but i could stop thinking about what Donald said, he had told them about me? probably to laugh like they were probably going to do in a minute.

"Oh hey um Donald right?" I played it off as if this morning had been insignificant.

"Ya, hey I didn't get your name this morning."

"Melody, I'm sorry again about what happened"

"Its cool don't worry out it but um did you think about those auditions i told you about." he said this while ribbing the back of his neck and looking every where but at me. Was he nervous or something? maybe it was his Friends?

Before i could answer bumper interjected.

"Don't even try honey no group is beating us this year and your not going to change that."

He was so arrogant i couldn't help but already hate him. What happened next I'm not to proud of. out of spite for that jerk i turned to Donald and quickly said,

"Yes ill be there and you can bet ill make the Bella's and beat you guys this year in regionals, well be dancing circles around all of you." with a smile I winked ,the cherry on top of my insult, turned sharply and started to walk away.

"Awesome see you there beautiful." Donald call as I walked away.

What had i just done! There is no way i can show my face if I don't go to that audition now and when the Bella's turn me down its going to be even worse Ugh why do I always do stupid things like this.
