Parallell destruction

Arvellon

As we get into the car Lo immediately turn to Luce. "She knows".
"What!?" Luce burst out. "Calm down! She's... one of us". Lo says. "Prove it!" Luce spits out, I've never seen her like this before. But I can't blame her, it's quite some secret she's been keeping there. I think about showing her something else but my control of earth but just to be safe I stick with what I showed Lo. Luce gets the same expression on her face and I can't keep in a giggle. Why did I take that drink?
"Who are you?" she asks.
"I don't really know anymore" I tell her.
"And you think it's a good idea to go to some party right now?" she asks and looks at Lo.
"Yeah, this girl has gone through what we have Luce. But she's been all alone. Harmony deserves to take a break from all of this for once". I like Lo. Luce looks at me and nod.

At the party, Luce and Lo runs of to find Nic and James but I don't follow them. I don't want to think about this anymore. This was supposed to be a fresh start for me. Starting school was supposed to make me normal. Just for tonight, I'm going to pretend that I am.

"Guess who!" A pair of hands covers my eyes from behind. I don't know a lot of people yet so there could only be one owner to those firm hands.
"Tom!" I say and laugh. I could actually need a stereotypical dude like him right now.
"Happy to see me?" He teases.
"Actually I am" I say and he looks at me, shocked. I'm glad.
"You have had way too much to drink obviously. Not complaining though, you being nice to me is quite refreshing".
"What? I haven't been nice to you since you have never been nice to me" I say and cross my arms.
"Well that's convinient. Let's both just start being nice to each other from now on then." He says and puts his arm over my shoulder. I shake it off but nodd at him.
"Sounds good! So what do you do at a party anyways?" I ask regretting what I said instantly.
"You've never been to one?" He laughs. "Don't worry Harmony. I'll teach you how to party". Should I be worried? Probably.

When Lo and the others finds me I'm sitting in Tom's lap playing truth or dare with his jock friends. "What the hell" Luce says and Tom turns to her. "Care to join quirks?". Lo looks at me and I give her a wasted smile. "We'd love to" she says and they all sit down. I can't believe that I am at one of those parties that I've heard outside of my bedroom windows so many times. Tom turns to one of the guys he hangs with. "Luke, truth or dare?". The guy answers truth and Tom asks him who the hottest person in this room is. The boy named Luke looks around and then sets his eyes towards my friend. "James". He answers simple as that. I would never dare to admit being attracted to anyone just like that. Well normally I wouldn't, right now I'm too drunk to say for sure. Tom puts his hand on my thigh and everything starts spinning. Nobody seems to notice though and the game continues.

James:

"James, truth or dare" Luke asks. James answers dare and Luke smirks. "Kiss me". I wouldn't think that James would actually do it but he just stands up, puts his goofy smile on and pressed his lips towards Luke's. It looks awkward but passionate, can't say I'm not jealous. The game continues like that and so far, I have been spared from anything embarrassing. But then I hear my name. "Dare" I say and everyone looks at me weirdly. "What?" Tom asked. "Someone said my name right?" I asked and they all shook their heads. I turned cold.
"Harmony" I heard it again and this time I knew what it was. No, no, no not now. Not here. I jumped of off Tom's lap and ran outside. It had sounded so normal, it hadn't been that hissing, raspy voice that I knew so well. I took some deep breaths and then suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder. Hoping that it was one of my friends I slowly turned around but to my surprise it was that guy. He whom I had seen getting on the bus this Monday. Who was he?
"Harmony" as soon as he said my name I knew it was him I'd heard.
"Who are you?" I ask. "Don't worry, I'm not here to do you any harm. My name is Arvellon and I am here to help you get rid of your demons." Demons? Is he talking about that creature? Could it actually be real?

"Okay I'm not sure if I'm drunk, hallucinating or if someone is pulling a prank on me. Could you just tell me wich so that we both can go on with our lives" I tell him.
"I'm sorry to say that it's neither, I'm here and you are in danger. You have to come with me Harmony" he grabs my hand but I jerk it back.
"What?! You really expect me to wonder of with a complete stranger? How do I know that you're not a demon... or just some perv trying to rape me?" I start yelling and it must have been loud because Luce bursts out the door.
"Harmony are you okay?"
"Do you know this man?" I ask her.
"No...? Should I?" she asks.
"He seems to know something Luce"
"My name is Arvellon, I am a vampire and I have been sent here to take Harmony to a safe place" Arvellon tells Luce.
"Safe from what? What is that thing following me?" I ask him.
"It's a demon, trying to possess you and use your powers Harmony" he says looking way serious.
"Hold up! We've seen that thing to!" Luce states. "Should we be worried?"
"No. It's after Harmony. If it has passed by you they where only trying to track down her and found the wrong person, I'm assuming that you're an Aerphir too?"
"Hold up! What is an Aerphir? And did you say that you're a vampire!?" Luce looks very confused and I can't blame her. Was everything not weird enough as it where? Suddenly the whole gang runs out the door to see what the fuss is all about. Nic sees my teary eyes and surprisingly takes my hand. But there's to much on my mind to think about that.
"Woah! You all have Aerphir blood running through your veins? How many of you are there?" Arvellon asks us all looking at James, Nic and Lo.
"I'm assuming that you're referring to our gifts and if so, we're the only ones. But why the hell are you calling us Aerphirs?" Luce asks him but just as he opens his mouth to answer her I hear something else but Arvellons voice. It is the entity... the demon.
"Harrmony" it hisses and I look around at my friends who looks just as frightened as I do. They can actually hear it! I can't help but to feel joyful. Maybe I'm not crazy at all. Maybe I never was. Then I realise that this situation is not something to be feeling happy about. Arvellon looks dead serious. "All of you, take a deep breath right now! He demands and then picks up some sort of device out of his pocket. He flicks it and a light turns on wich vastly starts to grow around us. The light covers my eyes and I can't see anything, it's like looking into the sun. I can hear someone screaming, probably Lo.. or Nic. When the light fades we slowly start to get our vision back but I can already feel that something is off. My powers allow me to sense the nature around me and I can't feel the wind, I can't smell the grass, I can't hear leaves blowing. How did we get inside? As my vision clears completely I notice that we are inside a huge room which looks like a ballroom inside a  castle in a fantasy movie. "What the fuck" Luce .
"Welcome home" Arvellon looks at me.
