"So random niggas just agree to drop you off after work all the time?" Ahmad sarcastically and angrily questioned a tired and worn out Aria. It has been months since she has been cooped up in the house. That is until he finally agreed to allow her to work and take online courses. As if that wasn't enough on her plate, plus still fulfilling all the household duties here he was engulfing her with more stress. She was just now accepting the harsh reality of her possibly never seeing her mother again. She didn't have many friends. She ended up creating a child with a notorious maniac and forced into new life all in the span of a few months. He didn't consider the things he has put her through and doesn't care to. She winced at the word "niggas". She felt as if the word was so vile and unnecessary but she answered "He's a co worker. He didn't want me catching a Lyft this late."

She replied softly while placing her belongings down. Removing her shoes and eagerly making her way up the stairs to see her child who she missed dearly. His little face, tiny hands and feet along with his tiny squeals and whimpers. She adored him. It's as though the light was turned on in a room that has been dark for far too long when it comes to seeing him. Not much could put a smile on her face these days. That's why he was her angel. He polished and brightened her soul during this depressing period of her life. She didn't understand why Ahmad was even bothered by the guy. How could he be so envious yet still treat her like scum? She can never tell what he's feeling or what he's hiding behind his aggressive demeanor. She felt his presence following behind her. Her body tensed. She hated whenever her back was facing him.

She feared what he would do. Like a lion stalking it's clueless prey as it wandered just innocently looking for a meal. Not knowing their life is about to be gone for it's predators gain. "That wasn't my fucking question." He angrily huffed out while gripping her wrist and spinning her body around almost tripping her down the steps. "Ahmad I-" cutting her off "Don't let me catch him outside my crib again." Not understanding the point he was trying to prove. Aria attempted to speak, though being sure to control her tone because she was afraid of what would happen if she didn't "But I work late.I can't just be-" swiftly cutting her off "Don't fucking play with me Aria."

His eyes shooting holes into her skin "These niggas can't do for you like I can." He moved in closer. She quickly put her tiny hands out to put space between them but he flicked them away. Pressing his body against hers. "In fact. I find it fucking insulting that you felt he was sufficient enough to witness such wealth." His hot minty breath tickled her cheek as he huffed out the last word. Scoffing while looking her up and down he finishes "Your pussy is damn near soaked from a simple car ride home." Silence filled the room for only a moment. Aria looked down. Taking in what he had just said. She believed every word he just nastily spoke to her. Even though she knew he was exaggerating the incident.

Ahmad finished his sentence "Desperate ass." He loosened his grip as his phone went off with texts and calls. He slyly removed his phone from his pocket, while stepping back and turning to go into his business room.

All she could do was stand there. Battling with her mental. She has yet to be the one to come out with a victory. Her mind absorbs what he says. Let's it marinate and it sticks. Making it harder for her to believe opposite of the nasty things he spats at her. Though anyone in her situation would jump at the chance to have a side thing. Being treated this way normally brings most people to step out. She wasn't even sure she could call this a relationship. He terrified her into believing that that's what this was. She's too afraid to believe it's anything other than that.
