Chapter 13: remembering

Niall's POV.

"COME ON LADS GIVE ME MY PHONE RACHAEL COULD BE RINGING." I screamed at them.

But Harry decided to answer it.

"Hello? Yes, what, no, we will come straight away." Harry said his voice shaking.

"She's been in a car accident and they don't think she will make it." he explained.

I just fell to the floor crying, I couldn't take this, why do these things happen to me.

Caitlin's POV.

How is it I come out with just a broken arm and they say Rachael probably won't live through the night.

I looked over at her laying on the bed, looking peaceful but ever so pale, I wish I could talk to her one last time before she goes, before I never see her again.

Niall's POV

We ran into the hospital and got told her room, I sprinted in and went beside her bed, I was crying but it didn't mean anything to me anymore, I want her to be ok.

When they saw me come in, everyone in the room left so I could have time alone with her.

"Rachie? Babe, can you hear me? I hope you can because what I am about to say is one of the most important things I have ever said. Ok, I need you to wake up, I need to see your beautiful eyes, I need to be able to wake up beside you every morning, I need you here so we can raise kids together, I need you here so we can grow old watching our children grow up and have children of their own, I just need you here to be with me, I need you so that I can stay strong." I said shakily.

"I Just need you here."

"Do you know what it was like when I first met you? We had so much in common and you kept daring me to eating contests, you were and still are the perfect girl for me, I can't let you leave, I need to marry you and treat you like my princess for the rest of our lives, please don't leave, please! I promise I will do anything to make you stay, I will give up fame, one direction, the screaming girls, our house, anything I just need you to live, so that I can make it through the rest of my life." after my speech I just sat there and cried.

Rachael's POV

I could hear everything he said, I was trying to wake up, I really was.

But I heard the doctor speaking to him.

"She is pregnant with twins, but if she dies, they won't make it." he explained.

I heard Niall cry even harder, I have never in my life felt so guilty as I did now.

Niall's POV

the girls and guy came in eventually, and Louis speech was so emotional.

"Rach, you have been my best friend since year 1, we went through a lot, but please don't leave, I need you here I need my best friend"

The girls all said their speeches and we stayed in her room over night dreading what was going to happen afterwards.

We told all the stories about her, the funny ones, the happy ones and the sad ones, I never knew she had a huge crush on this guy during high school and then he humiliated her so she chucked her lunch on his head.

we eventually realised how much we were going to miss her.
