I grabbed my one little bag and dashed for the door. Dad was passed out on the couch, the TV louder than ever. I took the house key off my chain and set it on the kitchen counter and locked the front door behind me. I was never coming back.

I waited on the stairs for maybe twenty minuets when a black stretch limo pulled up. Is this Simon’s? Maybe I should rethink my sarcasm. Maybe this will be fun. A tall man in dark sunglasses climbed out and came over to me. He removed his shades and said, “Are you Jessica?”

Trying hard not to look in his eyes, I said, “Yes, sir. Are you Simon?”

He looked almost shocked that I had to ask, though I had no idea who this man was and he nodded. He looked down at my old suitcase, “You have more inside, right?”

“No, sir.”

“This is all your brining?!”

“This is all I own…”

Momentarily, I looked up to his eyes and flinched back. He looked very confused. I didn’t know what to say…

*Simon‘s POV*

“This is all your bringing?” I said, looking down at her old bag. She does know she’s staying all Summer, right?

“This is all I own…” I didn’t know that. I looked at this poor little girl, and she looked quickly up at me, but then flinched into a defensive position. Something was wrong, but I wasn’t going to pressure this girl into telling me.

“Well,” I said changing the subject, “Lets go then.” I said as she climbed into the limo before me. He eyes grew, like she had never seen anything like this before. I shut the door behind me, making her jump a little, but she sat back into her seat, trying to look relaxed.

We’re the boys going to be too much for her?

*Jessica’s POV*

He kept looking over at me. I was getting even more nervous as we drove through London. I have never been here before, it was beautiful. We have read about it at school and studied its history, but I have never seen it in person.

We went to the far side of town when the limo finally came to a gentle stop. Simon opened up the door and climbed out, trying to help me, but I refused. I know he isn’t dad, but I don’t know him at all. I don’t know him, therefore I can’t trust him.

This house was HUGE! It had to have been at least five times the size of my house. It was a very modern looking pad, lots of silvers and whites with lots of windows. Very open.

Simon led me up the stairs and into the living room. The house looked even better on the inside than it did on the outside. It was truly beautiful. “I‘ll go get the boys.” Simon said, walking off. Great… They are all boys.

I set my bag beside the beautiful black leather couch. I was just looking around when all the sudden, I heard yelling. It was getting closer. I spun around just in time to see a tall brunette haired boy running for me, “HHEELLLLOOOO!” he said hugging me. It really hurt my ribs, but I gritted my teeth and stood the pain.

Simon was back and said, “Louis, get off of her.” and he slowly released.

The boys stood in a straight line, Louis at the end. Simon stood at the head and said, “Boys, this is Jessica, she’ll be watching you over the Summer.” I’m BABY SITTING them?! At least half of them had to be older than me! They all gave a wave and said hi.

Louis smiled at me. Simon continued, “Jessica, these are my boys, That’s Louis,” he said, pointing to the hugger, “And that’s Liam and Zayn,” he said, pointing out an innocent smiling brunette and a tattooed, serious faced boy with blonde streaks in his black or really dark brown hair, “And that’s Niall,” he pointed to a cute blonde boy with beautiful blue eyes, “And this is Harry,” he said pointing to a smiling boy with super curly hair, “Any questions? What‘s you phone number?”

The boys went off to the sides and started climbing all over each other, “Umm. Yeah. I don’t have a phone and why do they need a baby sitter, they all look older than me?”

Simon looked over to where the boys were wrestling and said, “Because they act like that.” pointing to them, “Well, I have to be going now. They want me at the studio by three. Bye Jessica. Call me if you need anything, my number is on the counter. Boys!” They all looked up from their tangle, “Be nice and show Jessica to her room.”

I think it was Liam who said, “Will do, uncle Simon.”

“Uncle? I thought you were their dad?” I said and everyone looked at me in confusion. What did I say?

*Harry‘s POV*

Liam said, “Will do, uncle Simon.”

Jessica narrowed her eyes and said, “Uncle? I thought you were their dad?” everyone stopped and looked at her.

Louis said, “We‘ll explain it to her. By uncle Simon.” and with that uncle Simon was gone. She looked almost scared of us.

I finally said, “Well! Lets go up to your room!” to break the silence. Jessica picked up her bag and Zayn said, “Is that all you have?”

“Yes.”

Louis’ smile grew and he said, “SHOPPING SPREE!”

“No, just take me up to my room please.”

Louis frowned as Liam led her upstairs. I stopped Louis and asked, “Does she even know who we are? She didn’t fan girl or anything! She didn’t even know who uncle Simon was!”

“Something’s different about her. She looks so much like my mum… Its weird. But we ARE taking her shopping!”

“Definitely. She‘s beautiful.”

“Does that mean you think my mum is beautiful?” he said raising one eyebrow…

“You know what I mean, Lou.”

*Jessica‘s POV*

Liam opened the door to a beautiful room. A huge bed with a computer and a flat screen TV. I even had my own bathroom. The boys’ jaws hung open. “Have you guys never seen this room before?”

Zayn said, “We were never allowed to come in here. Uncle Simon thought we would wreck everything. He had this addition put on last month… WOW!”
