Sorry it took so long for me to update. I hope y'all like it anyway. It's a little short but there's a little somethin somethin towards the end for y'all. 😉💛

The nightmares only got worse for Jack. He could barely get any sleep.

Jack shot awake with tears running down his face. He covered his face as he let out a sob. He tried to be quiet so that he didn't wake Zach up. He always felt so guilty.

Zach woke up to Jack shaking next to him. He didn't mind being woken up. Zach wrapped his arms around Jack and pulled him close. He ran his finger tips up and down Jack's back to try and help calm him down.

"You're okay. I'm right here." Zach whispered and pressed a kiss to Jack's neck.

Jack wrapped his arms around Zach and tried to calm down. Jack eventually calmed down and started falling asleep on Zach's shoulder. Zach slowly laid them down so Jack had his head on Zach's chest. Jack kept his arms around Zach. Zach rubbed Jack's back until he knew that the boy was asleep. He pulled the blanket over them and kissed the boy's forehead.

Zach had to will away his own tears. He wished that there was a way that he could help Jack. It upset him how upset Jack was. Zach brought a hand up and covered his eyes. He let a few silent tears fall down his face. He tried his hardest to calm down so that he didn't wake Jack up again. Zach slowly pulled himself from Jack. He covered the boy up. He hurried to his bathroom and locked the door. He covered his mouth as quiet sobs escaped.

Zach set his hands on the counter and leaned forward. Zach took a shaky breath and swallowed. He closed his eyes and shook his hands. He was trying to not cry even though he so desperately needed to. He had been holding in his emotions for so long but he didn't want to radiate bad energy to Jack during this healing period.

Zach was stressed beyond belief. He had no idea what he was doing. He had no idea how to help Jack. He just didn't know what to do.

Zach checked the time and saw that it was five in the morning. He decided to not go back to bed but to just get ready for the day instead.

He wiped his face and started the shower. He stripped and climbed in. He took a deep breath as the scalding water flowed down his body. His muscles relaxed and he closed his eyes. He tipped his head back and ran his hands through his hair.

When he was done he got out and wrapped a towel around his waist. He used another towel and dried his hair.

He quietly left the bathroom and walked to his closet. He got dressed in comfy clothes since they were flying. He put some shoes on and grabbed his phone before leaving the room. He went downstairs and went to his backyard. He sat on the porch steps and laid against the railing.

Zach didn't know how long he was sitting there. Jack came outside and sat next to him. Jack wrapped an arm around Zach's shoulders and pulled him close.

"You okay?" Jack ran a hand through Zach's hair.

Zach hated that. He hated how Jack cared about others before himself. Zach turned to look at Jack. "I should be asking you that."

"I'm fine." Jack looked away from Zach and down at his lap. He played with his sweatpants.

"No you're not and that's okay." Zach laid his head on Jack's shoulder.
