I'm in love

you again?

After school I decided to go to a

record store  since I had money thanks to pops. I went inside and quickly looked for an Elvis Presley album.

I found  one that said 'Elvis Presley' with pink and green letters in it. It had Elvis  with a guitar singing.

He's so wonderful. And beautiful. Sometimes I wish I'd marry him. Elvis Presley reminded me of my friend back in London, Jake.

Jake was just like me. We have been friends forever. He reminds me of john from fifth period. We would steal records,food and mostly anything . I promised to write him and I did . He hasn't write back. He would help me a lot when I had problems. 

I smiled just by thinking of him. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and see John smiling.

"Hi" he said.

"Hello"

"What are you doing?"

"Looking for an Elvis Presley album"

He took the album I had in my hands. He looked at it for a while.

"Elvis huh? Have you heard of  Buddy Holly?" He asked.

"Yes he is  amazing. I have all of his albums"

"that's cool. What is your favorite song?"

" I love rave on. Its a great song"

I got the Elvis Presley  album and put in my backpack.

Then john raise an eyebrow.

"Now why is the  pretty bird stealing the album" he asked.

I blushed. "Because I am going to grab a bite  after this" I said smiling.

He smiled. "Interesting. Do you mind if I join in with you?"

"Nah. You are going  pay.right?" I said.

"I'll do anything to get your attention" he said.

"Mr.Lennon stop flirting with me" next I said as we walked out the record store .

We went to a fish and chip restaurant and i was getting to know him better. I guess he's not the asshole in fifth period. Hes a nice lad.

After that. he walked me home.

" hey I kinda felt bad of what happened in fifth period so I got you this." John said and showed me  my pocket knife.

I smiled "thank you. You didn't have to do this" I said.

"No I wanted to. I want to start fresh with you. You seemed like a great person to hang out with. Let's be friends" he said.

I thought for a second.

"Everyone should have a second chance, right?" I said.

"Yeah. Well I have to go. See you tomorrow" he said.

"Yeah see ya" I said and went inside.

I saw grandma in the kitchen and pops sleeping while watching TV .

"Hello Lucy how was your first day of school?" Grandma said.

"Good met some new people"

"Oh really like who?"

" two kids named Paul and George, and girl named Megan and then there's john"

"Oh I am so happy to hear that. Listen,   today is poker night so get ready. Be ready by  7:00 ok?"
