Re-meeting on a First Day

At school

First day of eight gradeus

Donna P.O.V

Summer has come to an end and It's the first day of eight grade. I was outside of the school by the field with Jack, Miko, and Raf as we waited for the teachers to escort us into the gym where we were gonna be picked up for homeroom, when I heard someone yell my name.

Joshua: "DONNA!"

I turned and smiled big.

Donna: "JOSHUA OMG!"

I ran up to up my good friend and gave him a big hug.

Anthony: "Hey forget about us?"

I looked to see Anthony and Jacob standing behind Joshua. I smiled even more. At this point I thought my lips were gonna rip. I let go of Joshua and hugged them both. They hugged back but met me with a surprise. They both placed a friendly kiss on each of cheeks. I was stunned but then I laughed.

Donna: "Guys meet my friends Jack, Miko, and Rafael. We've been friends for a while. Didn't really have the chance to introduce last year."

Joshua: "Nice to meet you guys. I'm Joshua Falcon. These are my buddies Anthony and Jacob Cee. I call them twins for short.

Miko: " Hiya any friend of Donna is a friend of mine."

Jack: "Same goes for me."

Anthony, Raf, and Jacob nodded not saying much.

Suddenly I felt hands go over my eyes and making me blind. I placed my hands over the ones covering me and felt around. I immediately knew who it was by the feel of the ring.

Donna: "Jasmyn!"

Jasmyn: "Shit. How'd you know?"

Donna: "Your ring."

Jasmyn: "Goddamit."

I hugged Jasmyn tightly squeezing the breath out of her.

Jasmyn: "You're gonna end up killing me."

Donna: "I know."

Jasmyn: "You're mean."

Donna: "Love you too. Look these are my friends Jack, Miko, and Raf."

Jasmyn laughed as I put her down.

Jasmyn: " Hey I'm Jasmyn. "

Miko: "Love your highlights."

Jasmyn: "Thanks I like yours too."

Jasmyn admired Miko's new colored highlights that were now a light red.

I saw Briana and Kimberly and called for them.

Donna: "BRIANA, KIMBERLY!"

They both turned around fast and smiled in delight. They both came running to us, happy to see us.

Briana & Kimberly: "JASMYN, DONNA."

Kimberly and Briana hugged Joshua and the twins first then turned to us. Briana hugged me first then Jasmyn while Kimberly hugged Jasmyn first then came to me. We were all happy to see each other.

Donna: "Bri, Kim these are my other friends Jack, Miko, And Raf."

Briana: "Hi I'm Briana."

Kimberly: "I'm Kimberly."

Raf: "Hi. I'm Raf."

Jack: "Jack's my name."

Miko: "I'm Miko the jammer."

We stood there getting to know each other.

Joshua: "Nice haircut Bri."

Briana: "Thanks Josh. Love the highlights, matches Donna."

Joshua: "Thanks."

Donna: "I didn't even notice that."

Jasmyn: "You're so late."

Donna: "Shut up."

Jasmyn chuckled. It was quite weird now. Joshua looked exactly like my dad. Only with different clothes. While Joshua had a black jacket my dad had a red one. He had a red v-neck shirt while my dad had a blue one. It seemed a little weird, but I quickly shook off the feeling as the bell rang and the administrators escorted us into the gym. The teachers looked up our names and told us our homeroom teacher's name. Jasmyn, Joshua and I had Mr. Sukala for home room. Kimberly, Briana, Anthony, and Jacob all had Mr. Eichenlaub.

After awhile we were given our schedules. I had electives for first period. Great. For the first day I had meet both my A-day and B-day teachers. It was confusing on the first day, because we had to go to A1 for Band then B1 for Karate, A2 then B2 which are both reading, A3 which is social studies, lunch, then B3 for science, and finally A4 and B4 which are both math.

Luckily it wouldn't be like that everyday.

Finally it was after school. I meet up with my buddies at the park and waited for my dad to pick me up. We laughed and talked about what we did over the summer. Then somehow got caught up talking about music groups like, Skillet, Nickelback, Evanescence, Blood on the Dance Floor and so on and so on.

It wasn't long before My dad came to pick me up followed by Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee. They all had their holoforms activated considering in Arcee's case. I got into my dad's cab as Miko and RAF did the same with Bulkhead and Bumblebee. Jack literally had to climbed behind Arcee and grab her waist to hold on I found it amusing.

Optimus: "How was your first day."

Donna: "Long, and fun. Why is it that the first day and last day of school seem to be the longest days in the entire year?"

Optimus: "I don't know. I'm not a human."

Donna: "Oh. Ha. Ha. Very funny dad."

My dad chuckled as we made our way out of Jasper and into the desert roads leading to base.
