Hang Out

Next Day

Buzz, Buzz, Buzz

Donna woke up to her phone buzzing. She picked it up and saw it was a message from Joshua. "Hey wanna hang out. Others gonna join?"

Donna smiled and replied. "Idk I'd have to ask my dad and he'll want to meet you."

She hit send and waited his reply. "OK cool. No problem. Ttyl."

Donna put her phone down and stood up. She grabbed Ace's dog food and poured it in a bowl. She then placed water in the second bowl. She whistled abs Ace cane running in. She chuckled as he ate.  She exited her room and went down the hall to the main foyer. She transformed to her robot mode as she came in.

Optimus and Ratchet were conversaing in secret again. Donna went up to her father and placed a kiss on his cheek.

Donna: "Morning dad you feeling better?"

Optimus: "Yes I am thank you for asking sweetspark."

Donna: "Hey dad can I hang out with my friend Joshua today."

Optimus raised an optic ridge and turned to face his daughter.

Optimus: "You and Joshua?"

Donna: "And some other friends dad relax."

Optimus: "I'd have to meet him."

Donna: "I told him that he said it was no problem."

Optimus: "Very well. When?"

Donna: "Later."

Optimus nodded and turned back to Ratchet, continuing to talk secretly.

Donna headed back to her room and grabbed her phone texting Joshua. Hey my dad said ok  where should we meet." Joshua texted back immediately. "Aight. In front of the school at 12."

Donna went back into the main foyer and told her dad what time they would meet. He nodded and turned his attention to a few moniters. She then looked at her phone and it read 10:45. She hurried back to her room, took a shower, and got her stuff ready. When she finished she wore a blue shirt, white jeans, black Jordans, and wore a purse that went over her shoulder. Her red and blue highlighted hair was held back in a clip. She placed lip-gloss over her dry pink lips, riching her color in volume. She heard a knock at her door.

Donna: "It's open."

Optimus opened the door in his holoform and peeked his head in.

Optimus: "Donna take Ace with you."

Donna: "Why?"

Optimus: "He's couped up in her once in awhile. Besides he'd be good protection.

Donna sighed and shook her head. She looked at Ace who had perked up and smiled. She looked back at her dad and nodded.

Optimus: " Ready?"

Donna: "Yup."

Donna looked at her phone and it read 11:30. From the base to town would take twenty minutes and to get to the school it would rake another ten so she was good. Optimus deactivated his holoform and acomppanied his daughter to the main foyer where he transformed into his vehicle mode. She stepped in and he drove off.

Joshua waited in the front of the school with Anthony, Briana, Jacob, Jasmyn, and Kimberly.

Joshua P.O.V

I waited with the others for Donna's arrival. We then saw a blue and red semi pull up as a man with black hair, a red leather jacket, blue shirt, and blue jeans climb out. Then I saw Donna behind him with a black dog. I thought automatically that, that man was her dad. He looked quite scary to me. Donna waved at me and smiled I waved back as they got closer.

Donna: "Hey guys. Say hi to Ace."

Joshua: "Hey Donna."

Jacob: "Hello."

Jasmyn: "Oh hey. Can I pet him."

Donna: "Sure. Ace Jasmyn is a friend."

Donna's dog sat as Jasmyn petted his head. Ace hung his tounge enjoying her touch.

Jasmyn: "Oh what I'm awsome. Oh yeah."

Donna chuckled as Jasmyn made her comments.

Kimberly: "Hi."

Briana: "Hi."

Anthony: "Hola."

I smiled and turned to face Donna. She shook her head as her smile grew.

Donna: "Dad these are my friends. Anthony, Briana, Jacob Joshua, Jasmyn, and Kimberly."

Optimus P.O.V

I looked at Donna's friends and nodded. One of them wore a resemblance to......me?

The one that was called Joshua. My spark pulled at the sight of him. I shook off the feeling.

Optimus: "Nice to meet you children. I am Donna's father. Call me Mr. Pax."

Jocob: "Nice to meet you Mr. Pax."

Jasmyn: "I thought tour Dad's last name was McGinnis.

I froze when the one called Jasmyn pointed that our.

Donna: " Well it is. But Mr. Pax here us my long lost father, but in his case. I'm his long lost daughter."

Briana: "That makes sense."

I relaxed a bit at Donna's explanation. Something had caught my optic. I noticed that each of the children had a resemblance to someone, but I couldn't put my digit on it. I shook off the feeling quickly.

Optimus: "Well Donna I will see you soon."

Donna: "Ok."

I placed a kiss on Donna's cheek and went to my true form. I started the engine and drive off.

General Narration

Optimus drove off leaving the children on their own.

Donna: "So where are we going?"

Joshua: "To the park, then I don't know see what else we do."

Jasmyn: "Oh wow."

Joshua: "Shut up."

Jasmyn: "Aww OK."

Joshua: "Just Kidding."

They all laughed in amusement. They the all headed to the park that was few blocks down. They didn't do much, only talk and laugh. After that they went to the carnival that was in town. They rode most of the rides.

Donna: "That was awesome."

Jasmyn: "I know."

Jacob: "Was not."

Anthony: "Why?"

Jacob: "I think that last ride stole my stomach."

Joshua: "Cry baby!"

Jacob: "Fuck you."

Jacob said showing off the middle finger. Everyone laughed even Joshua.

They left the carnival, heading back to the neighborhoods.

Donna: "Hey guys mind if we stop by my adoptive parent's house. I wanna say hi. Haven't seen them in a while."

Joshua: "I have no problem. What about you guys?"

They all shook their heads and walked to Donna's previous home. When they arrived Donna went to the gate. As soon as she touched it Ace began to growl. Donna looked down at him and saw that his teeth were bared. She knew instantly that something was wrong. She leaned down to Ace and whispered.

Donna: "When I open the door you investigate quietly. Come back to me got it?"

Ace let out a deep growl as he followed Donna to the front door of her previous home. As soon as the door was open enough Ace bolted in sniffing around. Donna had completed forgot about her friends.
