Chapter 2. Her

Lisa's pov*

"เป้า." I said while smirking. Me and my bestfriend chaeng is currently playing archery. (เป้า - Pêā means bullseye in thai)

"Yah! You cheated are you?!" she said accusing me. Tinawanan ko lang siya. And reach my hand out to her.

"Aniya! Just accept it chaeng you lose" she pouted then gave me the lollipop. Which is I've been craving for, well to tell you guiz this not just an ordinary one because this lollipop is very delicious and the most expensive lollipop ever.

"Yeah whatever." she said rolling her eyes still pouting. I grab her arm then drag her making our way to the parking lot. We where at the mall right now. She just called me then ask me to went out with her. And i said yes not before we made a bet. So that's what happened.

"Lisa are we going home now?" I notice the sadness on her voice. I stop walking and look at her, she seem so down.

"Rosé what's the problem?" i ask worriedly. I patted her shoulder then pull her into a hug. She remains quite thou. She broke the hug and now she's the one who's dragging me towards the car. She seated at the driver seat while I seated at the passenger. We we're silence until she spoke.

"I hate my father." she said with a sad face. It didn't seems like she's angry thou.

"What?.. Why?" She take deep breath and run her hand through her hair he keeps fidgeting until she face me. I know when something's bothering her.

"Well he said that he's other daughter is coming from New Zealand. What if he stole my dad's attention? What if he don't like me anymore!" she started sniffing.. I force myself trying not to laugh oh my god i thought something bad happened.

"Rosé you know what? Don't think to much arasseo? I know tito Ron too well he would not do that. So what if your step sis is coming right? Besides, You will not be lonely at your house anymore don't be jealous to your new sis chaeng." I said trying to lighten up her mood. I smiled when she wipe her teary eyes then nodded. She smiled too then she starts the engine.

"Where are we going now then?" she ask. I put up my hand over to my chin and look at the car roof thinking a place where we should go to. Then an idea pops into my mind.

"Chong-ah! Let's go to your house!" I squeal exitedly. She look at me like saying for real? I just nodded exitedly with a huge smile plastering to my face. She pout but I've notice that we're making our way to their house.

I turn on the radio and taylor swift song starts to blast through the speaker.

"It feels like a perfect night
to dress up like hipsters
And make fun of our exes,
uh uh uh uh." We sang along through the music.

We look at each other then both sang the chorus with our lungs out.

We laugh together as we finish the song until we where now in front of their gates. The gates automatically opened as it's recognized chaeng's car.

She gave her keys to one of their guards then we made our way through the front door. I wipe off the imaginary dust to my skirt looking presentable.

Chaeng starts to knock then she face towards my direction. I know that she's nervous right now. She look so worried. I smiled at her.

"Don't worry everything will be fine." But her worriness is still there.

"But what if she don't like me? What if she has this personality like Cinderella's step sisters?" I caress her back trying to calm her.

"Don't overthink too much okay?" she smiled. Then we notice that the door starts to open.
